I was thinking the same thing. I haven't been to BA Open before, what is the policy for spectator admission?

singles is so not my game XD. I've played many of my friends along with other players in singles and i tend to lose. But in doubles it doesnt even compare.

I was wondering the same thing as ionoo cause I don't live all too close by. Are draws usually posted like a day or two before the tournament?

if by take over you actually mean shoot grainy and blurry shots with old equipment, then sure! Ill be happy to "take over" :D:D

im still researching/saving for proper equipment. Right now im eye balling the 40d/50d but i heard there is a 60d coming soon.

    Well..

..Elliot, you could borrow kwun's nice DSLR (and lenses) and switch your camera (lenses) w/him when he takes that weekend off for a bit of R&R.:p;)

As for waiting for the new camera, hmm, it's up to you. Once you buy the new 60D, 70D is probably coming up on the horizon. If i were you, i'd save a bit of money and buy a used 40D or 50D (i've used both actually for baddy actions). In reality, there's not much difference as they are still in a XXD class. If 60D has better AF system and better ISO settings, then i'd consider getting it. If it is not much different than 50D, then, IMO, it's not worth getting. Also, lenses are equally as important..

    Anyway, it's up to you..

Are you really going to post the starting times of each event? Prior to Wednesday you said list of players and starting times of each event Wed. morning but so far... seems you just say there are a lot of players, you want a refund or not.

"Due to the unexpected large size of players playing in the Singles and Mixed event, Saturday will be a VERY LONG day for those players. Thus, if you would like to CANCEL from your singles event, especially in the U12/U16/D/C singles or any of the mixed event, you can make the request by submitting a ticket at http://support.baopen.org by Thursday night and we will gladly reimburse you for a FULL refund. Those players that do not have their partner registered in the doubles events are automatically removed from the draw and the event fee will be refunded within 48 hours after the tournament end.

I would like to see the estimated times and end times before I would like a refund that's why.

    Draws?

    Thank you
