Thank you all for very convincing arguments. I have to agree to agree with you. You guys are awesome teachers in BC too, where I've been enjoying reading some very nice and thoughtful postings. Thread like this one really helped to clarify a lot of confusions and misconceptions about why we fight and how we can achieve peace and harmony under common interests and principles. As everyone has done in the past, I'll certainly do my share of work in the future for the great success of BC .
I Wish For Sanity In These Threads Yet another thread has been locked http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50537 If mutual denigration is the specific intent, why don't people just exchange telephone numbers or skype IDs? That would surely speed up the flow of abuse. In this sort of you-me-you-me-who, it's not much fun being a voyeur
a lesson for me anyway.sorry that it has been closed. it should be a nice discussion.turn into argument.then.become pointless. in this thread,i should learn how to post good points n facts.
personally i think it is ok to have disagreement, afterall, having differing opinions is how we evolve to be better human beings. however, the key point is to discuss and learn about what each other have to say in a civilized and polite manner.
They were civilised enough in that thread. However, it was starting to get boring with the constant handbags by the same people that I thought it was right for kwun to lock it.
I basically quit posting on BC because there was too much drama (too much bickering going on that was not warranted). I still answer PMs if I receive them but I rarely read and post anymore because unfortunately for me, it's become fruitless. It's too bad because I think I still have some things to offer BC. For instance, I was going to do a few things: 1) For Christmas, I was going to raffle off 10 or so Chao Pai rackets for free. 2) Sponsor a tournament (still may do this) 3) Redo a complete stringing video, slowly, step-by-step with verbal and graphical instructions. 4) A bi-weekly video of Halim Haryanto, interview him, his training tips on improving your game, how he acquires his amazing wrist power, strategy, etc... 5) Update all the reviews. Man, just typing all this was fun but as of now, not going to do any of it. This panda is just going to hibernate over the winter. Wait, do panda's hibernate at all?
2008 Beijing Olympics: Badminton Tickets are now available for sale Hi kwun and all, 2008 Beijing Olympics: Badminton Tickets are now available for sale. I have just posted about it at this thread located at: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50556 Good Luck to all... wanting to get your tickets as required. Cheers... chris@ccc
Of course, you do know what you're doing but, Sir Dink, this sounds like too drastic a decision... especially when it isn't going to make any of the bickering go away Your silence is also bad news for many of us :crying: It'd still be a great Christmas (for BC) if you'd go ahead with 3, 4 and 5. (I never liked Chao Pai racquets anyway and I'm too old to compete ) By the way, pandas don't hibernate Neither should this one
