the weight is more or less like a 400 f2.8. i think 600mm f4 is too heavy and therefore less maneuverable!

Are they HD600s? Puny against the might of the HD800, bwahahaha. Also, yes, these AD700s are huge. About twice the size of my friend's Grado SR60i's.

    Nope... not even close.

Those are the very limited production run HE/HEV-90s from Seinnheiser. Otherwise better known as the Orpheus.

You can buy about 100 (make no mistake, one hundred) of those AD700's with this thing.

Well they look like HD600s *grumble*

I had heard of the Orpheus actually ... I'm just not really into Sennheisers.

Oh yes, they do look alike. Except the colour part.

Quite frankly, I do like the HD600 very much. I like them better than the 650 in fact. Can't describe why though. Maybe its my preference that's all. The 800's seem a bit too heavy for my liking. Never got the chance to really try them with the kind of music I would use them for, so cannot comment on the sound.

BUT.. still a little too much money for something I do perhaps once a month or even less frequently...

Plenty of people on Head-Fi seem to prefer the HD600s. They're just out of my price range. I have got Triple.Fi 10s though!
