It MAY BE a good pairing :D

More seriously, I can't help watching kkk's attitude on court, he's not serious at all. Meanwhile, BAM can't split the pair until they exit the top 5 WR

I think KKK's attitude has affected TBH's playing style adversely too... he is also pretty flippant now.

    It's the coach ...

Imo the actual problems is that the coaches failed to made much changes in their games. Most likely all the mas MD pairs are using the same old tactics/strategy which have been studied by their opponents. Bringing Tan Kim Her back is a good move, just too bad that he is handling all the lower rank pairs ....

Not only that, BAM lacks the guts to make big changes because they are afraid that their scratch pairs will fail to perform. They don't dare to pair up someone else will TBH in any tourney because they want the title. We have to let go of several titles to take a step forward.

Now if 1 or 2 of TKH's trainees beat their seniors regularly in tournaments
that would be sth for BAM to think about.

There will be changes after TC, just wait & see. More drama shall be forthcoming from BAM, as usual ;)

They dont play the same level of tournaments, KKK/TBH(& FUzzy) go SS. Back-up go for IC, GP, GP Gold. Teo KS, Chooi & gang's ranking too low to participate SS.

The newly promoted ones to elit like Hoon/Ong(seniors by age), CPS/LKW, Mak/TWK maybe can, after regularly sparring with KKK/TBH.

ANyway, just wait & see after TC. Now it's a lot of maybes :p:p

Thank you Sir for thinking highly of me. "Maybe I retire already.
I am way beyond competitive age.

Correct me if I'm wrong ,from a spectator's point of view Koo & Tan seems to have a prefered playing style, something like volleyball with a spiker at the back and a setter at the net. This was also the style dominant in the 80s,90s amongst pairs like Rexy and Ricky,Cheah Soon Kit & partners etc.Park Joo Bong and his think-alikes or clones like KIm Moon Soo, Tan Kim Her seem to have developed a style with 2 equal players playing at mid court and both equally in net and base.So out came people like Kim Dong Moon ,Ha Tae Kwon,Yoo Yong Sang,Lee Dong Soo etc.Later Chandra &Sigit and Denmark and now China Korea and Japan seem to have developed hybrids of these playing styles.
I think if doubles pairs can develop alternative strategies they would be able to confuse their opponents much more, but like someone said, nowadays with the new points system games are quickly lost before one realises mistakes.
Malaysia has so much doubles talents, but are they exposed to modern training methods and playing strategies as in football? Are coaches up to date, smart enough or is it the players too complacent? I think key people in BAM have the answers, change is inevitable.

As usual typical "kiasu" BAM...BAM just want to see the instant result, they should learn from the Koreans.

Looks like TKH did a lot of good to the back-ups, while KKK/TBH is no longer improving any more.

Its a pity to TBH......as his partner, KKK keep playing like a clown.

    BAM should help TBH.......

I think this partnership is reaching bottom by now............with severals 1st round casualties.

If no respectable result after next month's WC, I think they should split and if they come up with threats of retirements, so be it. Don't be a hindrance. Give other pairs a chance. Same applies to Fuzzy pair

If split, should be after Asian Games, not WC. OG qualification time is from May 2011, that's when they must identify the pairs for OG

Limsy, Vountus is only 21. Lufti is 22. If you want to list, all three, haha

Nothing about splitting or what - the problem here is motivation. Someone needs to fan the fire in them again. We shall see if losing to Mak/Tan for the first time give any side-effects to them in the next tournament(s).
