chris-ccc, you can find those wonderful stats if you go to the forum main page and scroll all the way down, under "What's Going On?" header (posts, threads, members): http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/forum.php *it's possible 2 milllion posts can be achieved by around 2012 OG (depends on the traffic)..
Still learning to navigate with our new upgrade BC software . Thanks ctjcad, Yes, I have finally found our BC statistics. .
It was Heong who made the 1.000.000th post Although a BCer in Australia made the 1.000.000th post, it wasn't me. It was Heong.
Heong made the 1,000,000th post at BC . Hahaha... Heong made the 1,000,000th post at BC; but he didn't make 1 million hits on his keyboard to BC. .
SURPRISE! But check again below, and look it up at BCDF Stats as I found out just now (the members count has gone down a few thousands, so, who will be ''MEMORABLE'' member number 50,000?) ! Our BC Statistics is moving/changing so quickly . Our BC Statistics is moving/changing so quickly. Just some 7 hours ago, I posted this in another thread; .
Anyways, I guess it is for the better good of BC if all the fats, trans fats, variety meats and all are trimmed, that way we (BCDF) are more streamlined and there'll be more storage reclamation and therefore speedier access as well, that's the upside!
Upside more than downside Also, reclamation of storage and speeding up our BCDF experience at the expense of nullifying incoherent or no longer relevant posts, threads, pictures and videos are all good! Threads and posts concerning buy and sell that's already a done deal a long time ago can be done without. Pictures and videos that has been posted and taken out by the posters themselves a long while back need not be in circulation, because it causes time-sharing lag time in our surfing experience. It slows down our searches as well and we are frustrated in searching pictures and videos we thought still resides but in actuality no longer exists but hugging disk sectors all the same. RvS
Whenever kwun does something new, we BCers have to get used to it . It's true; Whenever kwun does something new, we BCers have to get used to it. I have just posted this in another thread; .
Updating our BC Forum Statistic . Updating our BC Forum Statistics. As at 08-08-2010, exactly 2 years after our 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, we now have; Badminton Central Discussion Forums Statistics Threads 72,283 Posts 1,449,028 Members 51,239 Some BCers have left, but we welcome to our newest member, yandao1976 .
In just 6 hours and 42 minutes, we received 302 posts? . Wow... In just 6 hours and 42 minutes (between the 2 quoted posts above), we received 302 posts? This is amazing. !!! .
What is amazing is that at least 250 of those posts were probably from george@chongwei (and a select few of the other prodigiously prolific BC members).
..could still hit 2 mil posts by 2012 OG (avg. more than 250,000 posts/yr); BC hit the 1 mil post milestone in 2008, abt 3 months after the OG...well, depends on the traffic which i feel has slowed down in the last several months..
