Looks like there will be several get togethers.. - I am open to any baddy courts as long as it's not too far from the stadium. We can have 1 or 2 more options before we confirm one. - What time should we start? 10 am? 9 am? 8 am? Considering there might be some people who want to go & watch the Uber Cup Final @ 2 pm. I am planning to go and watch the Uber Cup Final, eventhough i know CHN team will take it back home. - Is the satay gathering going to take place after baddy session? Or will we have it during/at the same time as the baddy session? Then gotta set up the time to play if we want to have the satay gathering after baddy session. - I like the idea of bringing the satay gerobak (mobile satay mini truck) and park it next to the badminton gym. - 3 courts only? Then it could be reserved just for the BC gathering. - Where are the ladies players?....or should we bring some skirts and some of us guys can wear them.. - For those who can't make it to the Saturday baddy session, we will have a couple or so more mini gatherings...so, don't worry..just bring an empty stomach..
I suggest Reflexsport Puchong. It is 10 to 15 mins from Bukit Jalil. If you are a fast driver you can reach in less than 10mins. The court is nice and huge. Near Tesco Puchong where you can also buy ur snacks before going back to bukit jalil for matches. Can We Have A Consensus on the Location??? if the target is to have it near Bukit Jalil, why not we go BSC Serdang?? which is 5 mins to Bukit Jalil??? there is a foodcourt next to it.... the reason i choosed Twins Kajang as i thought we can have satay kajang cum badminton...if the main priority now is for baddy and nearer for everybody, we can make some adjustment but satay might need to change a bit....what do you guys think???

Hi, new members are welcome? Well, I am new and like the idea of playing a round during TC/UC. However from what I read I am quite old (43) in comparison to most of you guys, don't really play good (lower leagues in Germany) and am not female... But my advantage is that I can offer to take a good share of the court fee (thinking of 100MYR or so). Just advise location and I will be happy to join the party

gotta agree that we need to find a suitable place to get everybody around -we can start from 9 to 10 am....2-3 hours game, take shower, lunch and leave for UC final.... -I planned satay session with my mind that those coming for baddy will not go to UC final...if majority wanna go UC...I have to plan again.. -we can get satay man to the final venue...but lets finalise the venue first -actually 3 courts, i think george meant for former futsal court...baddy, there have at least 10 courts as I played there before with George -Yes, where is the ladies???or else we should get Chris, limsy and few members wearing skirts on that day... -yes, if we cannot find a consensus location, we might stick to Twins...those wanna go other places are welcome to organise other sessions but have to be other date and time to avoid conflict...
We still can have a baddy session with satay party.. - Hmm, how about the traffic? if there's traffic, can we drive that fast? - Any pictures or website link of the Refle X World venue? - Well, the main activity is to have a baddy session (and hopefully a quick shower) before heading out to Putra stadium. Having satay party is secondary/optional. - We can start @ 9 am (granted the place is already open by then)..can play for 3 hrs til 12 pm..The earlier start time the better, to give us time.. - Do both Refle X World and Twins have shower stalls?..If either venue has shower stalls, it'll be good as those who want to shower can do so there rather than driving back to the place or residence..After shower, then we can join the satay party.. - Which venue has air conditioning??.. - I think the majority will not watch the Uber Cup Final, but maybe a few will..So, for those not going, they can hang out and stay a bit longer at the baddy gym.. - If we want to have a satay party, we can ask satay man to park outside (the guy can come by 11:45ish). Then after we play, we can do satay lunch for 1/2 to 1 hr or so..I think if we finish by 1:15pm or 1:30pm, there should be enough time for those who want to go and watch the Uber Cup Final.. - I think most, if not all of us are flexible with the baddy venue. Thanks for asking Dan, but I think I will be able to travel around using maps, public transport or taxis. For me it's a very relaxing holiday, so no worries. Besides, I also think that starting at 9am is better than 10am for those going to UC. How about setting 9-12 as a timeframe and everybody can join in between 9 and 10? An showers would be extremely helpful. Besides I am planning to buy 10-20 Yonex combinations, because we do not get any 'asian style' shirts in Europe. Luckily my Hotel is close to Pertama Complex. Do the shops ripp off foreigners or are the prices fixed and fair? (sorry, different topic, but didn't want to open a new thread for this small question)
