Yeah, both WZM and JOJ have problem staying focused at crucial moments.

I think I agree with this but I would also like to add that even though Shon WH is probably the more fitter player his game,at least to me, seem to rely more heavily on his athleticism than WZ's does. But we'll see tomorrow.

Such a tension filled match was that last MS! I really thought JOJ had it after the mid-level break, but all credit to WZM for fighting back; I didn't think he had it in him.

Second final for Son two weeks in a row - does he have the stamina to triumph once again?

Right, me too, I thought WZM lost it this time when for the first half of G3 he was trailing 5-11, then he started to make his move to 8-12 and surged to 12-all. After that the match see-sawed all the way to deuce before WZM finally grabbed it, 23-21.

From the mid-game interval, it was a thriller to the end. Too bad, there has to be a winner, JOJ deserves it just as much.

Will we watch her rain her smashes again tomorrow? Can not wait to see the winner.

Right, WZM has got a killer smash, speed and fast reflexes, Son WH has got staying power, superb fitness and good stroke play but doesn't seem to possess a killer shot.

WZM may be more skillful but he often falls into lapses of concentration and give away easy points. Let's see if WZM can stay more focused and play sharp and forceful most of the way tomorrow, except that this time due to CNG factor, we've to take into account his energy level.

I watched the 3rd set again, rare to see WZM so pumped-up at every point won accompanied by a yell and fisting. A good sign of rising confidence and self-motivation. Well done, way to go.

You used to say, when Chinese players is winning, they are very good but when they're losing, you said they are not too bothered to win titles coz they have so many titles already.... LOL... :p:D:D

    did anyone notice at 1:03:22 of the BWF youtube video between JoJ and WZM;

if you look at the butt cap of WZM racket resting on his bag. that looks like a black/gold YY buttcap. indicating it might be a painted cab20?

The SF match between Porntip Buranaprasertsuk and Li Xuerui was a thriller and PB came on top against LXR who lost to two Thai players in two months, the first to RI in the World Championship and now to PB. The Thais have now produced world beaters and China no longer call the shots as it did a few years ago. Hopefully, PB could go on to beat her final's opponent Liu Xin and earn for her, her second SS tournament title. Shon Wan Ho showed that his win against NTM in the Chinese Taipei Open last week was no flash in the pan and he has now beaten S Sasaki to reach the final of a SS tournament and he could go on to win. His comeback after his military stint is really astonishing.

I thought it's gone case for Wang ZM when he was trailing 5-11 at decider game. JOJ failed to capitalize his big margin leading...

Porntip and Shon Wan-ho may deny host CHN to bag more than 2 titles here, considering Zhang/Zhao is the fave to win over KOR XD.

I favour Portnip.. But i dont know how Liu Xin will play. I have never seen her game. And also, 50-50 % in MS as well. Yesterday, WZM came from behind and finished the game. Hence let's see who finishes who..

yeah. i only managed to watch the 2nd half of the last game. JoJ messed up two smashes at match point. too rushed into winning, or too nervous. he should've taken the match if he had played the first match point more patiently.

this service judge is really annoying and inconsiderate. She is shaking the flashy badminton tube during a rally.

Are you sure what you say is a fair representation of my view? Here I'm talking about WZM as an individual player, not Team CHN as a whole. Even for Team CHN, I was quoting what was reported most of the time and often presented guarded opinion on that point, certainly far from the manner you put it which tantamount to a misrepresentation. Probably you mixed up my views and opinions with others.

My principle is very simple, if CHN or any country or any particular player isn't that good, no matter how you praise him/her sky high, he/she won't rise to the top and win major titles. Likewise,if he/she isn't that bad, you can belittle or damn him/her, nothing is going to stop him/her from attaining laurels.

Take this CHN Masters, whether you want to deny or ignore it, anybody who is aware of what is happening at the CNG and has a modicum knowledge of badminton would simply accept that Team CHN practically comes to this tournament physically stretched if not exhausted, to put it mildly. Playing 10/11 days at the CNG is equivalent to competing in two Superseries events in a row without break. And, for some of them, they even have to immediately fly over here overnight and compete the very next day, again without any break in another SS event. Excuses or not, I leave it to you. I'm merely stating the facts without embellishments; besides, the CM isn't the World Olympics, when CHN doesn't mind stressing their players out and not winning the CM titles, why should I mind? Take it easy.:)

not a bad first game between the 2 Chinese WDs. high level of play. my impression is that the rallies are shorter than usual though.

Son Wan Ho is definitely back, a solid player and supremely fit. Even Sho Sasaki I thought was playing very well here, a sign that he too is regaining his form. And JOJ as always is such a fighter, esp so when he plays the top guns.

Unless WZM has an extra gear or at least cuts down his mistakes to the minimum, my intuition tells me it's going to be SWH's title.

As for WS, it's even more likely Porntip's.

Wang Xiaoli/Yu Yang has proven to be a class above the rest, even when their form is not too good, they can still give others a hard time and win eventually.
