I used to own a rsl millenium 6 racket and i loved the feel of it ... but recently a smash from me broke the racket ... is there an alternative to this racket as i loved the feel of it and wanna get something similar back as i know millenium 6 is eol ...
I notice that RSL rackets aren't any cheaper than Yonex'. I'm wondering if it's worth trying this brand out, people? Thanks!
their M10 top ends are quite pricey but not as expensive as Yonex top ends. i'm using a Laser 9900 (i think is M9 mid to top end) and it's very good very good power emmision from it i think RSL is at the same level as Victor although Victor is more famous due to marketting
Hi ziggy, thanks for the message. What RSL rackets are good for doubles? I thought AT 700 4U is good for doubles but when I played with it, it's a bit too stiff for my liking. It has a large sweet-spot nonetheless.
i've been using my RSL ti 3200 Attack strung @ 22-24 lbs, for more than 4 years now. i recently tried a Yonex NS 9900 @ 24lbs, and i loved the feel of it, but it is too expensive IMO. What RSL racket is comparable to Yonex's NS9900 or Arcsaber 8dx? Thanks
so far i've only used Laser 9900 and tried Heat 9500. both is very good IMO. they are not too head heavy and quite suitable for doubles. i found that the Laser 9900 has a slightly thinner frame compared to other rackets that i own (Victor Artery Tec Ti99 and Apacs Nano 900 Power). nice paint too, very shiny
Hmmm Agreed and i guess X1 is a similar racket, or try X3 Gold it mind be a little heavier but it's similar too.
Been using HEAT 7490 Hey guys, Been using my Heat 7490 for almost 2 yrs now. Pretty good racket, very durable, good defense and offense IMO. what would be a good replacement racket because i want to upgrade..i've been thinking bout the X1, X2 Blue and X3 Silver?
X2 Blue & X3 Silver is good upgrade, just slight stiffer than 7490. But X2&3 has tapered shaft, yet still able to bend like 7490.
I've own some RSL badminton rackets, ie. X2-Pro, X3 Diamond Silver and X2 Blue. All 3 are good rackets to use. I'm currently using the X3 Diamond Silver and my son using the X2-Pro. I've since pass the X2 Blue to my nephew and IMO the RSL rackets that I'm currently are solid and reliable rackets.
hi rsl fans, its seem that M11 series is coming, anyone have any news? rackets for year 2011..maybe what is ur expectation and which feature or area u would like RSL to improve for this round...?
Since we have the 70grams racket... how about something lighter but still as tough or tougher frame... something like 60 grams. Medium Flex. No need for single pass grommet (cuz i hate stringing those stupid rackets and they don't seem that much stronger). hmm... what else... slim shaft (typical nowadays), still hold 28lbs tension. what else...
may i know which rsl model having racket at 70g ? lightest in rsl series and med flex ? u got any review to share for this item for us since its a benchmark for year 2011 for further improvement?
i changed my opinion on the RSL Heat 9500. racket frame at around 3 o'clock position snapped after practicing my drives and smashes. there was definitely no clash because i was the only one on my side of the court. good thing it was still under warranty. im waiting for the replacement
RSL Heat 9600 still lasting for me, Head 4000 frame snapped at around 3 o'clock and YangYang Q'tum saber 8001 broke at the shaft during smashing (still bugging me till now). 9600 well balance. String at 26pound.
sorry... off by 1 number.. =/ 80g = x2FP... want 70g. always thought the x2fp is a bit under 80... but i guess i'm wrong after re-reading the specs.
anyone used the mellienium 6 before? mine broke after a few years and loved the feel of it... those that used it, which rsl series is similiar in terms of feel to the 6? help appreciated ... and also where in SG can i buy RSL rackets?
