I agree with you! :D And it will not be easy winning a National Circuit title... ;) I think Yoga, Nugroho-type players will have a hard time beating Budi Santoso, Fauzi Adnan... Not easy!

Budi Santoso and Fauzi Adnan are the regular Finalists of the Sirkuit Nasional. We need some other players to challenge them

I think Bandar Sigit Pamungkas also lost to one of them this week

I also don't think even the second-team (Aprilia Yuswandari, Lindaweni Fanetri) will find it easy to them either of these Djarum WS players, let alone the WS Pratama players....

Question to all INA Badminton historians out there:
"Can you list the winners of the club competition in Kejurnas throughout history"?

I personally do not have the complete answer... :( I do know some but not complete...
    For instance, I know:
    2008 Tangkas won 3-2, Djarum runner-up
    2006 Jaya Raya won 3-1, Tangkas runner-up
    2004 SGS won, Suryanaga runner-up

I posted this under 2009 Asia Junior Championships (AJC), July 12-19 thread:

According to Bambang Supriyanto (Pratama MD Coach), Rendy/Angga will not be permanent pair. They will be paired again on WJC, but Bambang preferred Angga/Ryan for long term, and will looking for another boy to play with Rendy. If his decision is right, INA will have two promising MD, but if he's wrong...:(

Last heard the Pelatnas Pratama players like Adi Pratama and Evert Sukamta lost in the first round of Sirkuit Nasional Jatim to Agustinus (Djarum) and Tan Yuhan respectively.

Once again, I ask this question: "what the hell have they been doing all these while in AkMil Magelang???", especially for Evert Sukamta!!!!

hahaha i ask the same question myself.
in my opinion, the reason why mr. djoko santoso is putting our young talents through such misery is because he has identified one of our major problems in the past to be DISCIPLINE (or the lack there of). Therefore, (i think) he feels that by putting them in AkMil Magelang, the youngsters would learn to be more discipline and more importantly to have bigger respect for the rules laid out in front of them in pelatnas. so there will be no more 'badminton bad boy' aka one taufik hidayat in the future.

I can't understand to Evert's performance, he still 17 and just back from AJC but my question to Adi Pratama who still fresh lost to "Kiki" in 2 sets easily.

PBSI has made mistake since Pratama selection, too much players who failed in 2008 qualified in this year and their age aren't young anymore (all over 19).

Another mistake is a lot of important decision were taken by 2 PBSI Officials, no wonder that mostly of Pelatnas coaches and Pratama selected players have relations with those 2 officials.

Other Pelatnas Pratama players who lost in the second round:
Hermansyah lost to Bandar Sigit Pamungkas (Djarum) [1] 14-21, 15-21.
Siswanto lost to Stenny Kusuma (Spain) 11-21, 13-21.

Ary Trisnanto [6] won WO yet again after his opponents in the first two rounds were absent. he will only play his first match tomorrow. Budi Santoso [3] was also absent today and his opponent Wisnu Broto (Suryanaga) benefited from that.

Other senior players like Jeffer Rosobin (now coaching in SIN) and Rony Agustinus also progress to the third-round.

Other players who won include: Fauzi Adnan [2], Indra Bagus Ade Chandra [4], Ardiansyah Putra [5] and Ariyanto Hariyadi.

Actually Joko is the one who takes risk by recruiting young players...the past chairmen would not take risk and prefer to use existing players...thats the reason why our INA regeneration is too slow....the past chairmen were too ego for their own political careers....
I am not going to expect much from those pratama players yet...actually some of them are really good...pls note that after few months..some could be dropped out...

Also some coaches including Christian prefers not to have selection for players then again some say it is not fair, can be KKN, etc...
Honestly like Annisa, she is so petite.INA coaches wont select her due to his height but she won the selection in WD....it is tough...look at china;s [;ayers...some of them are talented but due to their height, not selected but they perform well....
I am not defending Joko but I do admire his willingness to take risk to train young players.he,even, himself said he is ready that INA badminton has no result in next 2 yrs....china had that vacuum before....

God bless INA badminton..I am still having hopes on INA badminton...

If you have been in pelatnas...there was no discipline at all on our current players...recently PBSI applied some restrictions and our players are whining...they need to learn how to independent, not ot be spoon feed all the time....eventhough some rules could be viewed a bit ridiculous but I think they should know that those rules are good for them in future....

I think the discipline issue has been a problem since early 2000s hasnt it?since the era of sigit budiarto (if im not mistaken). Which is why i think mr. santoso is making the correct stepping stones (towards the past, where everything was gold medals for INA badminton) by sending them to a place where discipline is the daily code of conduct.

Ya i agree with Hau-ge. PBSI really does need risk takers. for the last couple of generations (2000-2008), we havent really seen as many junior players who rose up to the 1st team as we would have liked (apart from the doubles department e.g. kido/hendra, bona/ahsan, polii, butet, etc). but even so, we havent seen much talents similar to the likes of TG or sigit whom i think are still the best MD players INA ever produced.
back to topic :D ... i dont think 2 years is enough to grow back INA's quality and prestige...i would say vacuuming is the right thing to do now seeing as a few promising young talents are emerging to the baddy world, the next generation would certainly be better than the current ones ;)

Two more Pratama MS players are eliminated in R16. Ary Trisnanto lost to Jeffer Rosobin (coaching in SIN right now) in 3-sets: 21-19, 19-21, 16-21. Senatria Agus Setia Putra also lost to Fauzi Adnan 14-21, 7-21.

    Partial MS QF:
Bandar Sigit Pamungkas (Djarum) [1] vs Jeffer Rosobin (SIN)
Pandu Dewantoro (Pelatnas) [8] vs Fauzi Adnan (Suryanaga) [2]

    WS QF:
Febby Angguni [1] vs Maziyah Nadhir (Pelatnas)
Tieke Arieda Ningrum (Pelatnas) [3] vs Angeline Santoso (Jaya Raya)
Yulia Yosephine (Jaya Raya) vs ??
Hera Desi (Pelatnas) Ana Rovita (Djarum) [2]

Febby Angguni [1] vs Maziyah Nadhir (Pelatnas) 21-8, 21-6, looking the score, so ironic for Pelatnas player lost to younger club player
Tieke Arieda Ningrum (Pelatnas) [3] vs Angeline Santoso (Jaya Raya) 21-10, 21-15
Bellaetrix Manuputty v Yulia Yosephine (Jaya Raya) 21-13, 21-10
Hera Desi (Pelatnas) Ana Rovita (Djarum) [2] 16-21, 7-21 another quaestionable for Pelatnas.

Bandar Sigit Pamungkas (Djarum) [1] vs Jeffer Rosobin (SIN) 20-22, 15-21
Pandu Dewantoro (Pelatnas) [8] vs Fauzi Adnan (Suryanaga) [2] 11-21, 17-21
Indra Bagus Ade Candra (Tangkas) v Ardiansyah Putra (Ganesha) 22-20, 21-9
Stenny Kusuma (ESP) v Ariyanto Haryadi (Tangkas) ???

Very expected result isn't it? I expect Febby Angguni to win another title. Or maybe let Ana Rovita win eh? ;)
