I always got to my favourite shop. its small and kind of cramp, also the shopkeeper is big and fat. But he is nice and recommends me good stuff and what not to do to your racket and the safe tensions. He is also skilled too,

hi ants..would like to ask you where do you usually get your rackets string..do you know any good stringers in K.L..as i usually got mine done in Penang..using a four knots stringing pattern that is recommended by yonex rather than the usual two knots string pattern..would be very great if u could recommend me a good stringer with a lot of experience in K.L..like to get my nanospeed 6000 n 7700 strung..thanks in advance..cheers

As mentinoed before, I don't trust or recommend CY for his string jobs because the way the tie offs are done and tension is not accurate either.

None of the options: I get mine done at tournaments where I know the person doing it is a player and understands badminton / stringing. Its not a friend doing it, also not a shop. I never go to general sports shops as they are often manned by people who don't have a clue about badminton - unless they are a specialist badminton shops.

strange result! there are more ppl with stringing machine then ppl who have friends with strining machine. isnt it supposed to be vice versa?

Edit: got my own strining machine. My own stringing is superior to any shop in my region.

1)Larkin stadium JB for high tension
3)Honly Taman Sentosa Tebrau JB for high tension
    4)Permai Sports JB
    5)Taman Perling Badminton Academy JB

    Hi Green,

Have you ever tried at the Singapore Badminton Association nearby Kallang ?
Someone told me the Ah Mak did good stringing works.

And also how about Chau Beng ?

Yes I do string at SBA Ah Keat shop

I bought 4 piece of Karakal from there, SL-70 (2x) M-Tec 999 (2x) . I strung both my M-Tec 999 there by the senior citizen"Auntie"(very antique), but disappointed, the string sway.Even the main string can be slide left or right but then never return back to the initial position just after strung??. But this thing will not happen if you string at Larkin. He fix it very evenly, 4 knots. I strung my re-strung my M-Tec 999 (2x) & SL-70 (2x) at Larkin stadium and very satisfied with feel.

i always go to a shop, different shops..to find the best stringer around my place.

i got a local friend who string,he works in yonex store, but i dont really trust him to string my racket anymore, since my 2 months old TSF300A was broken during his stringing.Cant really blame him.Maybe it's the auto stringing machine's fault. However he gave me a cheap bonny(300RMB worth)racket as a compensation(compared to my TSF,950RMB).

But,i like to call his other stringer,a girl,to string my rackets. Her stringing is great..one of the best in my town,i think.

I string my own rackets. Not sure about not being disappointed, but at least I don't have anyone else to blame.....
