But definitely there 'll be more competition in the run up to OG12.The medal outcomes of OG08 may be a good expression of how much money the country puts behind their badminton.DEN cut back on their budget and look what they won.There's a cohort of DEN MS who are coming of age(like 25years old) and I'm sure MF would not agree to being a coach without the assurance that there's money to back up his efforts to groom winners.I thought INA was fading until they decided to pump in money for OG08 and INA probably has the best value for money champions.KOR has LYD to drum up badminton following;in fact KO09 finals was full house.MAS will bear results provided Rashid's boys have the opportunity to play in at least 12 tournaments each a year.Their skills are pretty good. They need to develop the physical conditioning and match experience and this is best done through tournament exposure rather than endless training without competitive review. But Singapore looks like fading.SBA can't even afford to send Hendra/Hendri to AE.

It's still kind of hush-hush I guess so I won't say too much, but the club isn't owned by a Japanese-American. It was great watching her play.
Xu's the one I missed catching up with during SSF. What I'd like to know is how she keeps up her fitness and stamina. She's an amazing dynamo on court. She proves that size is not a problem.Every size has its advantages and disadvantages.It's how a player uses her plus points that count. I hope she comes to Spore in June.I will support her all the way.

Well, I guess there's no need to hide it since she's publicly made that statement now. She is indeed coming to Seattle and coaching at Bellevue Badminton Club. Hoping she enjoys living here and we all will definitely do our best in making her feel welcome.
if the news really true i feel really bad for xu because being a famous badminton player at the rank of five in almost 5 years in her badminton career. i one of the million badminton player dream to become an int'l player! but hopefully xu have a good decision for her life.. hope she become happy with his husband and the road she want to go.. (sorry for bad english or grammar.. its really hard! hehehe)

Quite an odd choice actually since the federation has managed to manipulate the olympic qualifying demands in favour of the doubles pairs (BWF rules) by sacrificing the singles (WR top 16) and they now have two former singles specialists on their payroll @ 1,0FT . Can't see this appointment being a (logical) replacement for Kim Young Man ...
