Wow, none of the latest Yonex rackets get a mention.

I had a look back and at one stage you were a bit ga-ga over the Woven 8. How do you feel about it, in retrospect?

Do you think Yonex has dropped the ball that much?

so means like no muscle newbie stickman would think a defensive light racket is good coz he can defend well and sometimes get a shot or two in. boost ego.

then train until become average not-so-stickman would go for something abit more overall to improve his game.

then mebbe later have more dexterity, muscle, and stamina would go for more offensive play with offensive type racket and say thats good, and others are lousy?

It has to do with personal preference and playstyle, NOT necessarily how good / strong you are.

    Soon, hopefully...the Mizuno TC700 and Forza 550VS.

TC700 = too much of a good thing means, not so good.

550VS = one of the top rackets I've tried in recent memory. Better yet, one of the top...say 10 rackets I've ever tried.

I think Panda should try the APACS Furious 60...it's rated Extra Stiff (7.3-7.7mm) BP~288...just suggestion I'm not interested in this racket lol

This is all relative. Your best is not necessary his best. Reason is different feeling, different setup and different playing style. Even racket of the same model might not feel the same due to different balance point and weight.

Ok that's weird, when I asked mizuno and forza, the only rackets I had in mind were the Mizuno T700 and Forza 550VS

    I want these to be compared to;
    Apacs Visible Hollow 1700
    Apacs Visible Hollow 1800
    Apacs Lethal 50
    Apacs Nano Fusion 608 Pro
    Apacs Tantrum 200

I'm an attacking player and already broke 2x sotx woven 8. I have a long swing when I smash.

If you have a long swing try the VH1800 and Forza 550VS, that's my best guess recommendation.

It's too hard to recommend a racket without seeing you play.

Nice question Ferrerkiko, you never fail to amuse me. I can imagine Panda now reaching for his big stash of rackets and feeling each one of them to see which is best :p

    Hallo Sir DinkAlot

How do you rate the following for Doubles (Allround) Attacking (Offensive) play, i.e. More Attacking and less Defense like moderate towards both?

    01. Yonex ARC Z Slash
    02. Yonex AT900Power
    03. RSL Diamond X3 Silver
    04. Carlton Vapour Trail Tour
    05. Panda Trinity or Ultra
    06. SOTX Woven 12A, 8A, 16
    07. LiNing N50, N55
    08. Karakal rackets
    09. APACS Lethal 70
    10. Victor BS09, 10, 11 or SW35

I would like to purchase any one of the above. After your rating I can decide to for which model.

    Regards.

he may not have reviewed some of those racket, and therefore could not give a true view. why not just use the racket review, its pretty definitive.

    I can help!!

    01. Yonex ARC Z Slash
Only good if you have fond memories of Andre Agassi. Small sweetspot similar to an oval means that if you suck, with the Z you'll suck even more.
    02. Yonex AT900Power
Everyone should have one. Like a decent toothbrush.
    03. RSL Diamond X3 Silver
Who knows? RSL's are even more confusing than SOTX.
    04. Carlton Vapour Trail Tour
If you can't beat them with skill, just angle it towards the light and blind them with the reflection.
    05. Panda Trinity or Ultra
Some big Yank that talks about himself in the third person designed these, and he's played with more rackets than anyone has so he must clearly know a lot about rackets. Just buy one.
    06. SOTX Woven 12A, 8A, 16
The 8A is like the girl everyone goes out with but nobody marries.
    07. LiNing N50, N55
Who ever thought we'd see the day when "Big in China" was actually a good thing, yet here we are.
    08. Karakal rackets
    Karakal makes rackets?
    09. APACS Lethal 70
One day APACS will grow up, and Dinkalot will be there with the embarassing stories.
    10. Victor BS09, 10, 11 or SW35
If you understand Kimchi, get one of these.

    Hope that helps!

OK, that was the funniest post Panda's read in a long time.

Panda thinks Tiger's a much better racket reviewer and should take over the reins. :D
