    Herry Iman Pierngadi
He was Pelatnas MD coach, he also assisted Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya for the winning Gold medal in 2000 Sydney Olympic.
He trained Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan in early time Pelatnas. Kido was hired into Pelatnas as MS player then he requested Herry IP to move into MD Department.
Kido was paired with Hendra AG, Rian Sukmawan before fixed with Hendra Setiawan who paired with Joko Riyadi when joined into Pelatnas.

..he was already a coach (for CHN) prior to him returning to INA to coach the INA team (in the mid 80s)..but yes, in reality, TXH is Indonesian as he was born in Indonesia..

Btw, please tell your M'sian buddy that Lius replaced Rudy Hartono as PBSI's Head of Athlete Development in 2007. Prior to Lius taking that position, he was PBSI's Assistant Head of Athlete Development. And since 2007, Coach Christian Hadinata has been filling that position left by Lius..

IMO,better to split Rijal/Debby,it is obvious that Debby is the weak link. I think Rijal just back to pair with Greisya Polii. Dont waste Rijal talent.

Hi all, I am a new member... :)

I would like to give some more information about Liang Chiusia. She was also a Chinese player back to 1970s...
She won Asian Games Gold Medal for Women Single (1978) and Women Double (1974 with Cheng Huiming); plus a Silver Medal for Women Single at AG 1974....

JAKARTA: The Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) will pay out Rp 1 billion (US$112,000) in cash rewards to badminton players who win medals at the London Olympic Games in 2012, PBSI secretary-general Jacob Rusdianto said Wednesday.

Jacob said the association was grooming 25 shuttlers to compete at the sporting event. He said national players and club players would be eligible to receive the money.

Her younger brother is Tjun Tjun... who won the All England MD titles.... uhmm..... so many times... 6 times, yes. Went to the All England MD Finals 8 times, and won 6 times! I think only Finn Kobbero of DEN won more times (in MD) than Tjun-Tjun/Johan Wahyudi of INA... :) Liang Chiusia was originally Indonesian, but she went to China during the days when Chinese descendants were badly mistreated in INA...
