    that's exactly the problem.
    if that was a nentral umpire we would accept that it was a genuine mistake.
    and nobody will give the benefit of doubt that even CHN umpire can make mistake.

    so, why on earth BWF dont insist on neutral umpires.
    dont tell me LYB demanded CHN umpires for important matches and got them.

    These kind of things will happen as long as non-neutral officials are allowed. In other counties it will happen as well.

    Yep..in 2007, there was one KOR umpire and for whatever reason, KOR umpire was not used in final ...most of nations complained about it..I could be the witness when LYB yelled in Chinese to deputy chinese referee to do something ( when XXF lost to WMC)...

    should we really seriously consider using video replays to 'help' the umpires?
    the only draw back is it will slow the game real down, but is it the price worth to pay?

    ah the memories.

    has it been 4 years? time flies. i still remember hanging out in Guangzhou and HK and witnessing the WMC final right at the court side.
