You turn coat ... how can you turn on a fellow trophy hunter
Her name Rasangi Ranatunga does look like a anagram alias that a trophy hunter would use :)

    Hey read below ...

CENTRAL MELBOURNE OPEN AND GRADED TOURNAMENT
We have decided to set a regular date for this tournament --- the Sunday of the Tournament will always be the first Sunday in MAY -- this avoids Anzac Day and Mother's Day
This year the OPEN will be on Saturday 2nd May -- we intend to finish in one day but if there are any matches outstanding at 7.30pm they will be rescheduled to Sunday --
    not before 9.00am.
B & D GRADES will be on Saturday 2nd May also.
A & C GRADES will be on Sunday 3rd May.
We only allow you to enter one grade per day.
And this year the OPEN can earn Australian ranking points for entrants -- Badminton Australia have given it a Tier 9 ranking. So just how many points will you get -- it depends on how well you perform -- Winners get 540, Runners-up 450, 3-4 360, 5-8 240, 9-16 160, 17-32 80 and 33-64 40. So why not enter -- you can only increase the number of ranking points you currently have.
And our cash prizes in the OPEN have increased -- we will now have prize money of $200 for each of the events -- $130 for the winner and $70.00 for the runner up -- in doubles this will be split between the partners.
We will continue to give good quality trophies to winners and runner's up in the various graded sections.
Our fees have increased slightly -- but still compare favourably with other similar tournaments.
Download and complete the entry form below and we look forward to seeing you at MSAC on May 2 or 3.

I am really only whinging coz she didn't play WITH me, she broke the code of trophy hunting - ALWAYS STICK TOGETHER to bag as many trophies as possible, once hunting is done individually, you may get caught and then tarred and feathered! ;)

so if you rank between 33-64 you'll get an international 40 point ... since they'll never get more then 64 players or team in single or double, if we enter in OPEN grade and loose everything we'll still walk away with internation badminton points :)

We can enter OPEN on saturday and C on sunday :) so we can get both a trophy and international points :D[/quote]

Congratulations on your trophy hunting efforts. At least this time B grade is a bit more of a respectable win for you guys.

    It isn't an Indian name.
    It's a Sri Lankan name.

One of their greatest cricketers has the name 'Ranatunga'.
A hefty, powerful fellow who terrorised every rival team.

    Congratulation vien and anthony!!

Good on you, vien. Hope to see your name in the Top200 BWF ranking.

Sri Lankan or Indian, I pray that the two Ranatunga's are not related. ;):(
