What can they say really ? Not much except perhaps that they are still inconsistent as a pair. Or perhaps the fast lane is faster than they thought.

But for sure, sitting on the bench is not much fun. I am sure Rexy will force them to sit there and watch. But my bet is the oldies will be able to redeem some pride for Rexy.

Both presidents (Hafiz, Roslin) of YoYo club crash out yesterday right?
Don't worry M'sia fans, I think as usual there is still top man single player (LCW), top woman single (WMC), best old MD pair (Uncle Chong and Lee), top women pair (CEH/WPT) for everyone to cheer for today.

Faint! Excuse ..excuse & the excuse.. food...weather... Then what about others player? If Makis/Kido will be the AE Champ.. Do they eat different food or stay in "special place" in England?

Poor Rexy,....so much pressure for him to bear....as Mas MD, WD, XD coach...

And most of the players are in their low now..........i saw his photos in the other thread.....he sure have a pair of big 'panda' eyes.....pity him....

Rexy....you have my support......keep on kicking....striving.....with this bunch of young players............dont give up.....

Errrr what you mean ah? That's Pemuda being sarcastic-lah, reverse language.
You started this thread right? We lost 4 out of 5 MDs, sad, yes, but not entirely surprised. The players themselves or Rexy dont give excuse, they just say they didnt play well, they know very well their short coming, stimes too well till they cant get pass the failure.
And as usual the bashing will come from the majority.

I'm sure you know Kido/Setiawan, Limpele/Marissa also lost, their supporters sad.
XXF, Zhang Ning lost, China supporters sad.
    LHI lost, Korea supporters sad.

Cheer up Xymaerts, this year looks like LCW's turn to prove his mettle.

Wait a minute! Remember the Sidek wonder boys of 1981 or was that 82.

19 and 18 yrs old respectively and won the AE MD that year. But the following year and many years had nothing major to boot and couldnt even challenge the big boys of MD. But 4 years later in 1986 they blossomed into a formidable force to be the top 3 after Park/Kim, Tian/Lee and stayed on until they won the TC in 1992 at the ripe old age on 29 and 28.

Not Rexy's fault. Our boys cant take the pressure so they would have to slog it out for the next few years before they can rise again.

Ong Soon Hock and Tan Bin Shen or Fairuzizuan and Zakry and even the other pair I think can step aside for the juniors who are
18 and 19 now so that they can take pressure early and we wont get clobbered again.

If CTF/LWW make it to the final, it goes to show that the standard of MD today cant even compare to Cheah and Yap of old.

For ZN, I think it's understandable, age has caught up. XXF practically gave up, that even I cannot understand.

Even Roger Federer lost in the 1st Round of Dubai Open. He was the defending Champ as well. Nothing to worry about.

That's the exact mindset that sets the path for failure.
