    Press "Search Posts"

    .
    Yes, they are the same feature. When I am in a thread, it's labelled "Search Thread", and when in a forum, it's labelled "Search Forum".

    I punched in his username in the box when I was in our CCC Sub-Forum and pressed "Search Posts".

    ..aahhh, that one....but.......after i clicked on your link above to your sub-forum, i didn't see his result after i did what you suggested (using "Search Forum")?!?!
    All i get was this page after i punched in mojopin's username:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/search.php?searchid=419858
    I don't even see a button called "Search Posts" only "Search"????...

    The process i used through Advanced Search would directly point me to mojopin's post:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/search.php?searchid=420058

    Don't clear your browser cache (until you desperately need to) - it will cause first loads to delay for some unknown reason.

    Our CCC Forum is located at this link

    .
    Perhaps, you have searched in the wrong forum. Our CCC Forum is located at:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?192-CCC-Badminton-Club

    Try again. I don't see why I could find the post, but you couldn't.

    Anyone else think it is annoying when you click go advanced that the cursor moves to the front of the post, rather than the end of what you had written prior to clicking on go advanced.

    I keep putting smillies at the front of my post, then having to delete & move to the back:mad:

    just done it again

    Type something in the quick reply box........then you change your mind & want to do something "advanced" when you click the cursor is at the end of your message in progress, then click on a "smilie" & the smilie will automatically be put to the front of the message (even before a quote)...annoying when I just click advanced to add a final smilie...

    BTW you are right, no cursor until you click the box...

    The cursor always starts at the front in the 'Reply Box'

    .
    That's because the cursor always starts at the front in the 'Reply Box', when we use any of these 3;
    * 'Reply With Quote'
    * 'Post Quick Reply'
    * 'Go Advanced'
    .

    Can anyone tell me the difference of
    1) Reply
    2) Reply to thread and
    3) Quick Reply.

    I tried all three and it's the same.

    ..ahh, okay. I see it now, after i clicked on the resulting link (same link, same process & same result as i posted).:cool:
    It leads to your post, however, not to mojopin's post.
    That feature actually has been available before kwun "fixed" it (again through the Advanced Search feature).:cool:

    It does not lead to the BCer's post

    .
    It does not lead to the BCer's post, but to the post where the BCer's username is in its content.
