Pls let me know your attendance please! :)

This Sun game will be at Unity Sec, 10-12pm. Thus everybody have enough time to go back home to watch Thomas cup at 1pm on Channel TV1. :D

Those who have not informed me your attedance, pls put down here to let me know.

Btw, court 1 is no longer free for us, as it is available online for booking, so need to know the exact number for booking. We will put players into 3 groups.

Group 1: Regular (attendance by default):
David, Jacky, Jianhui, KarSeng, CheeKeong, CheeYong, Mustafa, Gee, Yu, Tatt, Pang, Lee, Sammy, Kent, KaiHee, KokKeong, Ong

Group 2. None-regular by default, notice for attendance:
Alex, Ches, Hogi, Tan, Louis, Darren, WeiMeng, Hwa, Patrick

    Group 3. Guests:
Attendance when only there is slot.

Pls let me know if the grouping information is not correct. :D

By default, the Sunday game will be at Unity Sec Sch, 11-1pm (or 2pm if you still have energy). :D;)

Court 1 is no longer free for us, as it is available online for booking, so need to know the exact number of players for booking. Players are put into 3 groups.

With the correct data below, I will only need to send minimum emails/msg to confirm the attendance and the booking. It's really troublesome to do so every week. ;)

Group 1: Regular (attendance by default): 15 regulars
David, Jacky, Jianhui, CheeKeong, CheeYong, Mustafa, Gee, Tatt, Pang, Lee, Sammy, Kent, KaiHee, KokKeong, Ong(sick at the moment)

Group 2. None-regular by default, notice for attendance:
Darren, WeiMeng, Hwa, Alex, Ches, Louis, Patrick, Tan, Hogi,

Group 3. Guests or those players can't attend for a long period due to oversea work or training or other reasons:
    Kar Seng, Ah Yu, Andy

Pls let me know if the grouping information is not correct. :D
The group information can be adjusted based on your request. :p

Our game on this Sun is 11-2pm as usual, at Unity Sec Sch.

Due to Vesak day, quite a few of our players can't attend, we welcome advance players to join us. :)

    Hi David,

Would like to check with you if you be interested to have a friendly game with my group that is based in Jurong West Blk 509.
I believe they might have a session at your home ground in CCK before and is still awaiting for a return game.

Matches to be played on a Sat night,
    Starting time: 8pm.
    Shuttles: Protech Masterpiece or equivalent.
Number of games: to be confirm, we have a estimated strength of 12 pairs w/o repeats.
Matches: Men's Doubles. Mixed doubles and singles can be arranged.

    Regards,
    Ben

Hi Ben, yes, we had one last time at CCK ,about 2 years ago.

Some of my players went to play at block 509 and said the condition is really bad and don't want to play there.

What's more, only 2 courts. For 12 pairs of men's double matches, need at least 4 hours. The waiting time is too long. Is it possible to have it at any sports hall or school hall in stead? ;)

Like that not very fair leh. The aim is to have a friendly game at each group homeground ma.
Win or lose can always be blamed on courts, time n shttules ba.
I have checked n my side can get the courts from 7 till 10pm.

Haha... Last time we booked 4 courts to play matches. But your side only 2 courts. How many pairs can we play within 3 hours? Maybe 6 only, the most is 8 pairs. Our team can have 12 pairs too. Thus it'll be difficult with only 2 courts. Any suggestion? If you want to proceed, then that's fine. Probably need about 5 hours to play 12 pairs. Can you imagine 48 players with only 2 courts? Waiting for 5 hours is too long. Maybe we play 8-10 pairs? ;)

Sorry, I might have posted wrongly. My meaning was my side can have up to 12pairs. For 3hrs with 2 courts based on 2 sets per game with 21pts system catering up to 12 matches is still viable. Number of games could be adjusted for we still need to determine who can attend and from there field the strongest pairing.

    12 pairs x 2 sets = 24 games

    2 courts for 24 games = 1 court takes 12 games

3 hours to play 12 games = 1 hour can play 4 games

1 game limited to 15 mins for 21 pts system :D

I'm not sure if it is ok to play at somewhere which is not your homeground since the courts are limited? 2 Courts are really not enough to play for 24 players. CCK or nearby also can right? As long as the games can smoothly progress. Don't let players to wait.

    Hi, sorry to "chuck-in" . . .
My group is interested to play Friendly Games.
I can pull in about 5 pairs, play level = mid-Intermediate.
I organised one on Sun (23rd May 2010) with 5 pairs vs 5 pairs.
21 pts game (1 set, new count sys). All my 5 pairs played against all 'their' 5 pairs (ie. each pair played 5 games).
Took us about 2hrs 40mins (booked 2 courts 3 hrs each) to complete all 25 games.
We can discuss further via pm if your group is keen & date/time is right.
    Cheers

I do agree with Kai Hee that with 2 courts (3hrs each?) and having 12 pairs (vs 12 pairs), ie 48 players will be pretty long waiting time for each player.

If there are no repeats, one solution is to get the players to turn up (punctually) at scheduled timings, like in tournaments.

Yup scheduled timing would be a good idea. But my aim is to acheive an accurate representation of each group strength.
As for Jimmy do let me know how you would like to conduct the matches. My side would like to confirm that a return match is avalible at our home courts. Lastly is ur forcast timing so thatwe can book the courts n inform our players.
