Hi, I guess I have now joined the Victor fan club, and really like the Meteor series, for mens doubles. Just wanted an opinion from others here regarding the hard case as supplied with the ltd set of MX London. It can fit 3 rackets quite nicely and has space for other items, shuttles etc. If I used it as my racket bad, would I look stupid taking it to the court side? Basically as a replacement for my 6 racket Victor bag. If you are a owner of this set do you take the case to the court's? I will include a photo of my rackets and the hard case.
Nah. I don't think you would look stupid to me. I'd say you'd stand out quite a lot. To me racket bags are like rackets. They're really personal too. If it performs well for you and your usage, then there shouldn't be any issue regarding looks. It just may be bulkier if you don't have your own transport.
Yeah im gonna go with it, stand out in a good way. But seriously the case is actually quite compact which is the reason I want to use it. Its much more compact than my 2 compartment 6 racket bag.
I don't see any reasons to carry 2 bags if someone doesn't carry more than 6 - 9 rackets. The reason of a typical badminton racket bag is to carry one bag only. For the rackets AND all the other stuff. But this is my opinion and my reason to get a badminton racket. I've only seen it, I don't own this hard case from MX 2012. But it looks bulky to me. Kinda overkill. But you shouldn't care what the other thinks about. It's just black, not really flashy / spectacular, so why not?
I don't believe that Rahul intended to carry both, but rather use the hard case as a replacement for his current bag.
currently MX80 and i feels it's quite stiff and slightly more den i can handle... looking for mx jjs... how is mx jjs compare to MX80... i'm liking the mx80 feeling... slightly more flexible will be perfect for me...
He's talking about taking it to courtside, as in tournaments and stuff. It can get a bit annoying to carry your rackets, your grip powder, your towel, your drink(s), your scissors separately.....so from a certain point of competition, you'll see a few people taking just a smaller bag with them when they walk on court to make carrying it all a bit easier
definitely less stiffer than MX80 and diff feel tat "direct" feeling wont happen for MX JJS but it compensate with easier play alternatively u can try out Li-Ning N80 which is aero frame, flex and slight head heavy giving u a fast enough racket and generates power frm the back court
Hi I had a long session today trying out the MX80, MX London and MX JJS. The MX80 is certainly faster, you notice it if your game has a lot of fast low drives, which our mens doubles game has. Another contributing factor to the JJS being slower is the fact its quite a bit head heavier, and probably due to a slightly less stiffer shaft. Although its still quite stiff and not as flexible as the MX60. The JJS is not as lively as the MX80, but it felt very stable. I dont want to comment on the power and playability of the JJS any further, until I have played some more with it. But mainly due to not having my usual string on it. I had some NS880 x-ti strings that came with the MX london pack and used it on the JJS. I did not like this string compared to my usual VS850. So until I can get VS850 on it, even I don't really know how good it will be for me. I am currently using the MX London the most, as its giving the most of what I want and a bit less pain on the elbow.
guys..anyone here is using victor sw 30?any comment about it? it is very hard to find the sw 30's review.. im planning to buy that racket soon..either sw 35 or 30..as for 35, its stiffness makes me wondering whether it suits me or not..currently, im playing with yonex voltric 7..
Sw30 feels great imo. I love it for everything except full smashes because i cant seem to time it right...but i am suffering from a shoulder injury so that is definitely playing a role.
