    In or Out??

So.... is badminton in or out in OG 2012?
    Anybody willing to enlighten me?

If it's out that would be really sad, especially one of the proposed replacement is CHESS???
Is that still consider a sport?? Don't get me wrong, I love playing chess but I don't consider it as a sport, especially for OG, I thought it's all about physical ability. Isn't that their motto "Citius, Altius, Fortius" (faster, higher, stronger)? Has that been changed?

Badminton is "The world's fastest racquet sport". So that's definitely qualify as an OG field. Maybe it's too fast so not too many people interested watching??? The player happen to smash while you're checking out a pretty chick around the corner, and the shuttle already on the floor. You ended up asking what happen?
To tell you the truth, sometimes I keep replaying the video clip over & over on youtube when top player do a fast trick/smash that I can follow.

^^Off topic-It's been spreading almost like wild fire..^^

...here's another link to the article; apparently the links to all BC's articles are down (notice also you posted in the other thread/sub-forum), thus the article can't be seen/read...;)

..several initial hints should turn on a person' light to tell that the article is not real..:p (ie. date of article, name of the writer, name of city (written backwards)..:p

    Not so fast

I'm not sure about that. I mean, it is kinda obvious now, especially for ppl who knows already. But honestly how often do you check the date & the writer when you see an article? Maybe it just me, but I usually don't really pay attention to those. I know it somewhat ignorance. I guess I better pay more attention next time to those kinda things. :p Off topic --- I can't seem to click those smilies :( but if i typed them in it works :D

I met Tan Joe Hok in 1959

I met Tan Joe Hok in 1959 while a fershman at Baylor University. I was working in the dining hall and we became friends. I had signed up for Badmiton that semester to fulfill my PE requirements. He asked me if I'd like him to practice with me. I had no idea of his background at that point. Well, needless to say I made an "A" in the course. And through that year we became good friends. I am sure he is still that thoughtful, kind and charitable person I once knew, So happy for his successes. Barbara
