Yes, karakal BN-60 can handle 27lbs tension. It can handle up to 28lbs maximum recommended tension. Higher than that is at your own risk. P/S: I have BN-60 (strung at 26lbs yonex string) and for me its my main best racket for doubles. Even-though it has less power in smash, I still manage to reach final with my partner in a doubles tournament by using it. Flat, fast and furious game is my style!!! Good impression by the racket and I LOVE it!!! Woohoo!!!
That being said though, if anyone is an offensive smashing type of player, I suggest getting a head-heavy racket or heavier even-balanced racket rather than the BN-60. The smash power is good but not great. The control is excellent though. So yeah. Hehe.
Hi there, where did you buy it for $83 USD?? Can you please let me know? Thanks I am looking for a BN-60 (new or in excellent used condition)
How is the durability of Karakal BN60? i plan to buy 2 pcs, will be strung NBG99 @28x30Lbs. Question is, would the racket survive such high tension and constant accidental clash with other amateur rackets? I wonder if BN60 might just be another yet famous and fragile ArcFB but cheaper.
