aramistuscany you beat me to the punch, I just picked up 2 pairs from Yonex 2 days ago and now have a chance to post up a picture of them. They dont look to bad and I quite like them actually, still like the orange ones too. The different material for the gold is nice as well but I like the orange material more.

Yes, I agree. I feel the orange version material is softer and more comfortable to the touch. The LTD editions are 'pvc-like', water resistant material. Similar to the SHB-85, SHB-85 LTD series.

The orange one has some texture to it and feels more solid and like it wont rip, scuff, or really have anything happen to it. The gold looks a lot more PVC like you said and feels substantially less durable/solid in the gold parts than the orange ones.

Well, let us know the performance between these two and your reviews/comments/issues :). I am thinking of getting the JP orange or maybe the white version SHB-65FT here locally, if they are still available.

There was just excess glue that was located there.

I did have a problem with them though as the shoe lace hole ripped not to long after using It, may just be a one off case for me though. All 3 shoes are different in terms of material quality I noticed though. The orange having "the best" material from what I noticed but I like the look of the white a lot.

performance wise though they all felt the same, same fit/comfort/grip it was simply the material and color difference that was there. I feel like these are actually some durable shoes for all that I have put them through (orange 3rd pair of them, 1st pair gold and 1st pair white) I go through lots of shoes quick and most shoes last me 3 months these have on average lasted a little longer than that. I know that I will completely destroy shoes while training in China that is why I acquired a few more for the trip over there.

Out of all of the SHB-86/65FT, I prefer the SHB-65FT in white, I don't really like orange so, but everyone is different and have different tastes....

i think the 65FT (JP version) doesn't have that problem.

I use to have a SHB85EX bought in sg , i later on went on to get another 85 from HK but it does not feels the same as my previous pair bought in SG. so i was wondering if the 85 bought in HK was CH coded since the box looks slightly different too.
Now for the orange 65FT , i have just received it from shuttle-house , after trying them on @ home. it was WOW WOW WOW n WOW. It feels so fitting n so comfortable.
I was about to give up on YY shoes after getting Mizuno Wave Fang XT.
But now , i can say this now that once my Fang XT's time is up , i will not hesitate to get another JDM 65 series.
I have not taken them out for a game yet so im not able to comment any further.
    Thanks :D

Once you tried JP shoes, you will not look back ;). That goes for their bags, apparels, etc..

Personally , I'm willing to spend on shoes to prevent injury , i do have a BAG1112R , but after a while , the SP counter part will be out , but i cant deny the fact that quality of JP bags r much better , however apparel i do have my reserves , 2 JP tops almost equivalent to an SP Arc 10 in HK.:-O

Yes... it is indeed very true.. JP stuffs are all about quality and the exchange between price for Quality will speak for itself.

    (1) How is the HK pair different from the SG?

    (2) Which is better? Mizuno or YY? why?

The stickers on the box of the HK pair looks diff from SG pair. The most distinctive difference is that the SG pair feels more fitting. my feet feels more secured with the SG 85.

Its very hard to compare Mizuno n YY shoes. It depends on ur feet type , ur shoe type preference n most importantly which models u r comparing. For me , the XT has better ventilation , thinner sole , better ground feel. 65FT gives me the feeling i can go all out with it. To sumarize , i will prefer to use 65FT for my hard games , XT for leisure games.
My XT is slightly shorter in length which is really snug fit , no room at all , whereas the 65FT is a comfy fit with some reasonable space.
    Both XT n 65FT are 26.5cm.

    Hope it helps. :D

To be honest, I only liked the white version as I don't particularly like orange and gold is too bright and stands out,

i bought SHB 65 FT today for HK$649 at Wan Kee. (Rose has it for $639, but they don't have my size.)

i am sorry to say that SHB 65FT is not as good as SHB 100 LTD.

SHB 100 LTD is lighter and softer, and it also has better grip inside and outside.
