Hey, well my beloved NS9k i here, and the strings are poor, they're nice and tight but feel really dead, They're Ashaway MP's,.. I think i'll play on them until i get bored though and then swap them over to BG70pro's, no point taking them out since they're brand new in my opinion. Waited ages to find another and i'm so happy with it!
Had a match last night, played on the NS9k again but OVer wrapped another grip and BOOM! I've got all my shots and feel back again, i thought the strings were dead and possibly too tight for me but I'd just not got the grip thick enough rookie mistake. Such a simple mistake to make. Apacs rock! woooop!
hi guys! just wondering anyone ever bought the VHS1800 and VHS1700? can i know the price? i went back to malaysia last month but i could not get a chance to check the racquets out in KL...
Just bought edge saber about a month ago.Feel satisfied with.Fast in responses, maneuverability,n can produce enough power while smashing. Strung it at 28lbs,NBG95,..but the current tension is only around 23,24lbs. Seems that this racket can't really hold tension..unlike the yonex AT rackets i have.
My edge sabre was strung at 27lbs with BG80 and it is still just as stiff as the day i strung it, so i'm guessing it's really down to stringing method and strings you use.
The thing is that i play it almost everyday..maybe that affects as well.Well, like u said, maybe the string..BG80 is thinner..so it should feel stiffer than the NBG95.Stringing method..i believe i have went to the best place to string in guilin. The stringing that has been done in that place would feel the stiffest compared to any other place.
hi guys been long time i did't post message in this forum now i find out many ppl here playing high tension last time all said 23 24 25lbs now a day all talking about 25 and above for me i playing at 29-30lbs this is base on manual string machine i still not try the Yonex digital machine yet as far as i know i Malaysia only i place got it 1 more thing i wanna ask about u guys do u guys feel hard to play backhand during high tension ? for me 25 lbs is sure to base line to base line during backhand 29-30 lbs i use a lot of time to make it from base line to base line do u guys facing the same problem with me ? maybe i am chicken player as well lol
Hey sumichz, Thats not the right way to judge the stringer's skill. He might have calibrated the machine 25lbs when its only 24lbs.
No...i'm comparing for the same amount of tension.I always take a look on the numbers when they string.Probably the machine..anyway,all of my friends said that place's result is stiffer than when they string in other place..
Yes, it might be the machine. what i am saying is they might have calibrated the machine lower. Which means 24lbs is actually 25lbs. But well, you got to trust your stringer.
High tension I haven't got any problem with high tension. Been playing with 30lbs for a while. The only problem is that the stringing job in Canada is freaking expensive.:crying:. I think that the back hand is easier to control at high tension especially the height of the birdies.^^
i still can handle 28..but 30..never really want to try it..again..not that i can't play with it.I used to play with 30 n it feels good..tried it with NBG95.Bang n bang!!..but too dangerous for my rackets...
yeah it's really dangerous for the racquet but apacs is so cheap it's worth the fun hehe.If it's a yonex genuine NS9000 i think i will play will 22lbs hahaha and keep my distance from beginners lol.I always sting my racquet with BG65Ti never tried others. It felt good so far so don't feel like trying others just yet and of course again the durability is high.
can anyone giv me a review on the nanopro 9900's performance?? e.g clears, defence, smashing, drops, nets?
Besides VH1800 and EdgeSaber 7....any new superb, high end, expensive apacs racket? Recommend..recommend...thanksss... guys...
