What are your saying ....... replacing the Mecca of badminton!!? We would lose the magic. Just like when the magic was lost when Stadium Negara was replaced ...... :crying: Ah, the wonders of that dome, and the ferocious spinning drift it creates.
well, ina should have a bigger stadium now because the crowd is larger now. but that is only a suggestion.
i'm disappointed to see china super series...despite being such a huge rich country where badminton is so popular, offer so little prize money....such a shame
huangkwokhau do you have the dates for these tournaments yet? Don't seem to be on the bed website yet...
2014 BWF calendar (incomplete) has been released : http://www.bwfbadminton.org/tournamentcalendar.aspx?id=103 January : Korea Open SS, Malaysia Open SS Premier March : All England SS Premier April : India Open SS, Singapore Open SS June : Japan Open SS, Indonesia Open SS Premier, Australian Open SS September : Denmark Open SS Premier, French Open SS November : China Open SS Premier, Hong Kong Open SS December : Super Series FINALS June has 3 super series tournaments, INA Open SS Premier is sandwiched by JPN and the new one AUS Open SS, really busy month!
Wow, June is really a busy month for the top players. i think most players will play back to back SS events, but not 3 events in a row. Looking at the proximity of these events, I think Australia may lose out.
I will get to watch the Singapore SS and hopefully (for the first time) Indonesia SSP in April & June 2014 Could also make the short hop to KL to watch Malaysia SS in Jan 2014. But I have to say goodbye to HKG SS (which I have regularly watched since 2005 onwards)
Denmark and French in October, not in September. off topic : this time Asian Games held before Denmark and French. Different with 2006 and 2010 edition
