Andre tedjono will visit Calgary after Vancouver and he will do some exhibition at Ardi B.W. club ( Glencoe club)...pls make sure all calgary's residents to watch the matches...
so expensive?!?!?!?!??! are you kidding me? $100 won't even get you close to the action at cancuk games. hell, i would spend $200 a ticket if it meant sitting court side watching taufik and gade duking it out. these guys don't come to canada very often, in fact i believe this is gade and taufiks first time in canada. these guys aren't going to be playing for very much longer, you should take advantage of this. if i had time, i'd be court side watching this thing, it's a shame i live so far. :crying:
So far, no word of withdrawal from Gade. I believe he is a man of is word. Besides, this is just an exhibition and he's probably deposited his appearance fee in his bank a/c
thats true. but he's also a man with an injury . anyways i hope he makes it out.its guna be a real treat
no, I didn't, got session tickets, but doesn't matter to me. I get to tour Vancouver abit, see best players play live.
Just found this thread.. ..hope to see all the local Vancouverians in attendance: madbad, wood_22_chuck, his bro, Master Pete LSD, Fidget and other BCers in Vancouver...Who knows, other BCers from the Seattle area could join in, too...And cooler, too, from the neighboring Calgary; a chance to finally meet & greet Hau-ge face-to-face..heheh Have fun and take lots of pics to share w/us all!!
oohhs!!! this is a 100% sure thing right?, and is it canadian april fools day? like, canada is one day behind asia
Peter gade is out http://www.badmintonbc.com/news_item.aspx?id=20437 Friday, March 27, 2009 Star badminton player Peter Gade has reluctantly withdrawn from Racket Rally 2009 at the Richmond Olympic Oval April 3-5 due to an injured toe, organizers announced today. Added to the event is countryman and #6 world ranked international badminton player Joachim Persson who replaces Gade.
It appears that gade has withdrawn now and they're bringing in the world #6. I'm not sure who that is but it's a Danish player as well
I understand it could be Kenneth Jonassen. I guess PG has not recovered from his broken toe sufficiently.
This is SUX! With people already bought the tickets to see PG, and now he withdrew because from his injured little toe. Thats sportsmanship, eh! Let's see, who is next?....Taufik?
