Is the ZSpeed stiffer than the APP?

You should bring visor on your shopping trip. He has a sixth sense for anorexic rackets ;) ...
"Goes into shop, picks out random 3U Yonex and lo and behold it's 86.x gr. :D"

Like yourself most, if not all, Yonex I have ever had in 3U were in the upper half of the 3U range.

Haha thanks all for the replies.

I believe the demo zspd I've been using was originally (dry) 90-91g max so it's not much of an issue.

I do have to report after 3 nights of badminton in a row. (3hrs/session) My arm does feel sore lol...

Will be picking up my very first "new" racquet in a long time.

    Zspeed, strung at 26 lbs!

No, a tad flexier. But more demanding as it's way head heavier.

Lol... I may be good but not that good. :p

I never go into a racket shop without my trusty digital scale. Best $20 I ever spent on eBay. :)

I was going to have a laugh at Visor's expense, but then I realise I do exactly the same thing :)

That's one of the reasons I think that I haven't liked Yonex much in the past. After wayyyyy too much trial and error, I know that for my physiology my preferred wet weight is 91-92g. Every Yonex I've had as been 95g+.

Just purchased a NRZspeed, strung it at 26 lbs with BG70 to try out.

Dry weight was 89g, wet weight with plastic on handle still was 93g. Will weigh again with overgrip in the near future but I'm assuming total weight 95g?

I'm very esctatic, albeit not being able to try the APP before I purchased a racquet lol.

Oh well, possible an APP as a backup or perhaps a primary in the near future?!?!

    Pics to follow soon !

You bought it from Topline? The weight scale and the counter looks familiar :D

Yea, he's nice person to deal with.
About the overgrip, it may add somewhere between 5g-7g, so you will be looking around 98-100g after applying overgrip.

    :O

Heavy haha. I hope I can get used to it long term. With it not being as head heavy as V80 & VTZF should help...

VTZF 3u, my arm could not take it haha.

ah... does it matter that much with that extra 5-7g overgrip? since you're holding the racquet shaft, the overgrip weight literally will make no difference since its so close to the pivot point... which is the hand. Why do people talk about the weight of the racquet?

You must look completely bizarre playing with a static arm

but will it really make that big of a difference in power if you account in the angular acceleration and jazz?
