New players are welcomed to CCC Badminton

    .
Not happy... You mean our postings here are not read by Joseph Sam. :(:(:(

Anyway, it's great that he is bringing more friends to play Badminton. We want to introduce Badminton to as many new players as possible. :):):)

    Hello all

    :D Hi Chris!

As a leader of CCCBadminton, maybe you should offer a gift for whom introduces new player to CCCBadminton.

And then you also have to prepare a gift for new players (like me :D) to encourage them pursuing badminton.

    Just joking.:p. See you tonight.

    OniOn.

    chris@ccc's 3,000th post@Badminton Central

    .
:D:D:D Hahaha... I am no leader of Badminton, but a servant of our beloved sport.

I have made it a mission to introduce Badminton to as many people as I can, especially to those people who haven't played our sport. If you've read my profile@Badminton Central here, you will see that I am a Badminton promoter. :):):)

Some BCers here have already known that I am more interested to cater for newer Badminton players than for the experienced ones. The experienced players can look after themselves and they do not need me. ;););)

BTW, this is my 3,000th post@Badminton Central. And thanks to kwun, the founder of Badminton Central, where with this forum we hope to get more newer players to play Badminton.

    Cheers... chris@ccc

    supper time report

look, something is better than nothing, my friend.

i know i did say i would write supper time report long time ago, so here's some stuff that i found funny on last friday supper time

    - chris has fun explaning congee/poddridge as an asian dish to the 2 new players (chris, what's their names?)
    - hkhung + thim are astounded to found there isn't really that much different between combination noddle and king prawn noddle between a few extra prawn
    - hkhung is astounded that onion is actually call + spelt er .... onion
    - for some reason, the chinese dough stick never arrive
    - chris has commented that next time we should order 1 less dish. then again we had $10 per person, wouldn't one less dish would mean that we would drop below the minimum $8 required?

feel free to add to my comments/cheers.

    Supper after CCC@Waverley Friday 11-Apr-2008

    .
hkhung, Yes, it wasn't easy to explain how congee/porridge is cooked...... to our 2 new players from Iraq. :):):)

Their names ? I couldn't believe that you have missed the namelist. Again, your speed reading is just too fast. :D:D:D

BTW, you have reminded me to mention that for our supper, there were 10 players; 4 from Malaysia, 2 from Vietnam, 2 from Iraq, 1 from Hong Kong, and 1 from Cambodia.

Regarding minimum charge, please remind whoever is placing order to take care.

    iraq and iran

i will remember to be wary of the minimum charge, otherwise might get into trouble for that

i do remember they are from iraq though, since sean is confused about the chinese translation of iraq and iran.

CCC Badminton welcoming players from Iraq

    .
Are you sure?... Iraq is mentioned in the Chinese newspapers everyday. Sean, who reads Chinese, would definitely know the difference between Iraq and Iran.

Anyway, CCC is so proud to welcome our first players from Iraq. :):):)

Apparently chris is right if "sean" referred to me. I am not confused.

You might be saying another "sean"?

    You are correct, seanmen. :)
