I am just about to go to bed (It's about 3:00am in Melbourne).

My answer is - Play all shots as tight as possible; and give as little time as possible to your opponent(s). It is therefore to prevent opponent(s) to impart such an attacking shot. It is not about how to deal with an attacking shot.

I believe that once you allow your opponent time to do an excellent (or attacking) shot, you would probably lose that rally.

I believe it s because she lost her INA coach who s a brilliant tactician. Another WS who s losing steam is JS. Guess she also lost her coach who s now coaching KOR MD?( May be wrong here.) Looks like some coaches make a big difference to their players tournament outcome.

Agree. No worries for him with a CHN MS waiting in the final. LD is in good form. Plus he knows how to conserve energy in his game. LCW, being MAS, does not understand energy conservation or strategy. He played AJ whose net play is mediocre and he opted to win points with smashes rather than net play. It s amazing LCW still beats CHN MS with some dumb tactics. Now if he can smarten up a bit in that area...wouldn t his life be easier?

    :D:D:D Barely enough.

However, when I am at our school team's matches, I become alert, so as to generate the enthusiasm to all the players in our team.

It was great this morning. :):):)

We defeated our opponent school 6-0 (4 Singles and 2 Doubles). Everyone felt very happy, including the school principle and the school head of sports (who turned up to watch and to cheer our team). :D:D:D

The School Principal looks after all activities of the students in the school.

The School Head of Sports looks after just the sporting activities of the students.

Me, as their Badminton Coach, look after just their Badminton team players. :D:D:D

Thanks Chris, your initial post didn't say School Head of Sports, just School Head. So, you are Head of Badminton Coach? Haha but nvm, Congrats.
