Based on my computation, both Malaysian pairs will advance to SF if they beat their opponents in straights with W-L points not less than 4. We'll have 3-way tie with 2-1 in matches & 4-2 in games for Koo/Tan, Fuzzy & Xu/Guo. Sample computation in W-L in points (both Malaysian pairs win in straights 21-19 21-19): Koo/Tan: 74-71 + 42-38 = 116-109 (.5256) Fuzzy: 77-74 + 42-38 = 119-112 (.5152) Xu/Guo: 90-79 + 38-42 = 128-121 (.5141) I hope I'm right!

Since MAS's strategy backfired(Fuzzy lost to Xu/Guo), MAS camp may ask Fuzzy pair to lose to INA pair so that KKK/TBH could advance 'cos they have better chance to clinch the title.
No, KKK/TBH needs to win in straight sets BY 9 points in total, meaning 21-16, 21-17 will also do. That is a total of 42-33 i.e. winning by exactly 9 points.
