I can try and take pictures. Although my micro four thirds camera is hardly designed for badminton action! Neither do I usually take action shots. I might be able to ask some of photographer friends at Birmingham uni who play badminton if I could borrow their pictures (they are bound to take some). They have DSLR's with PDAF more suited to action shots than CDAF!

I should be fine for non-action shots though!

yeah. as i was told it is designed for the Chinese market. but later on they releasing it for everyone else.

from the positive reactions here, it seems like it is a good idea.

not quite. the precision series is kinda different. it is not about speed nor about power. it is about control.

and from what i can understand looking at the whole line, Adidas believe that a softer shaft means more control. they seem to believe in the idea that dwell time is something that one look for in a control racket.

Sorry to take that out of context, i would expect quite the opposite. However, the design of the dragonracket still looks nice.

Looks like Adidas i singing a different tune (唱反调-translated it) to Yonex. Yonex is already starting to make rackets like arc11 and FB which is rated stiff, while Adidas is making flexible racket and saying that softer shaft makes better control. What a paranoid that is.

that kinda came from yonex's definitions probably.. except that yonex achieves dwell time via the frame design than at the shaft i believe..

yeap... interesting to note that the yonex matrix x-axis has been changed from hold-repulsion to control-power.

Arc FB is pretty stiff. I find it as stiff as other stiff rated rackets from Yonex, if not even stiffer.

to be fair. i think they are also doing a lot of stuff. but more on the traditional side of things.

they have given out demos to various clubs, they signed a few individual international players, and they do have an active presence in their facebook page. they don't have infinite resources as they are a standalone licensee and not necessarily have the full muscle of Adidas HQ. don't expect to see a commercial on superbowl.

BC comes in at a unique position because we are all fans and we can do trustworthy 3rd party reviews. BC is also limited in manpower but we do what we can.

i cannot find an equivalent Yonex racket to compare with.

but for Victor... medium stiff, bladed frame.... there can be only one. ;)

i am a bit surprised that the precision 88 design seems to be popular. do you guys really prefer this design vs the Adidas style shown in the other rackets?
