If it's missing the second "the", then that's exactly how it's tattooed on his arm. ;)

The shirt may have the second "the". The other shirt in the picture in the Lin Dan thread is quite clear. But his tattoo doesn't. Nor does his book:

    I just watched it too.

Good effort. Good and bad has been covered by swunk above.

One thing though: there's something about your power. You're not getting enough height and length in your clears, nor enough speed in your smashes, in order to penetrate or move him around. And yeah, losing some 5-10 lbs will help in your agility. :)

    All the best.

It's hard for me to lose weight. In china, it's so hard not to eat oily food. And I try to eat rice and it's soooo boring. Sometimes I got to get some western food! Lol, but does china have healthy western food? No, it has Pizza Hut and mcdonalds. So when I eat rice for a week, lose 3 kgd, I got to get that Pizza Hut annnnnnd, I'm fat again

I need to learn more discipline

Know what the staple diet of the Shaolin temple monks and martial arts practitioners has been for ages? ;)

they don't have to... martial arts is very similar to badminton with respect to hand speed, footwork, stamina, agility, power etc.

Is Hsu Shao Wen trying to out-rally Lin Dan? Not a good idea.

Lin Dan, despite not being under any pressure, commits a few simple errors like hitting wide by much or casually finding the net. Is HSW trying to lull LD into complacency in G1 and suddenly go all guns firing in G2 ?

At 19-11, Lin Dan executes exhibition dives twice to win the point, playing to the gallery.

The scoreline displays Lin Dan finished R/16 match shorter than yesterday, 21-11 / 21-8, 27mins :D

Yes, Sitthikom put up a better show than Hsu SW, not only that, he was able to retrieve a number of LD's smashes.

Today's match turned out to be a tame affair. LD would do well to be more alert tomorrow when facing either Derek Wong or Khosit; it's been too comfortable for him just now. At the very least, our friend, TheComedian, was more positive and proactive in his match with Huang Yuxiang.

THA MS Pannawit Thongnuam knocked out MAS Thomas Cup rep Goh Soon Huat in a close fought three-setter after 1 hr 14 mins.

THA players are never to be underestimated.

Meanwhile, Derek Wong gives himself a lifeline by taking G2, 21-19, after one game down, to force the decider against another THA player, Khosit.

Derek Wong scraped through, pipping Khosit with a late spurt of 4 pts on the trot for 21-17 in the 3rd set.

He earns the honour of crossing swords with Lin Dan tomorrow.

Although Derek will get whipped, it's still an honour to play against the maestro!
