In my list of Yonex racket made in Japan, this item was verified by me to General Foo of UK + China (Xi'an). Did you buy from him?

I have checked in the information of your Yonex NC Tuff 9 Shaft Serial:8977036; Date Code:131264US (date=13 Dec 2006) to my information list of Yonex rackets Developed by Yonex Japan (on the shaft) and Made in Taiwan (on the cap), its serial no. and date code are legitimate.
However you still need to inspect the other physical feature of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

I like how the seller quotes a badmintoncentral review, but that is waay too cheap for a AT900.

The ser# and cone code are legit. However, the price you paid is a little more than I can take...

    Thanks for confirming it. :)

Well, it came with its own cover, a large and splendid Yonex racquet bag, 2 sets of BG-66 strings, a Titanium overgrip, and stringing and delivery within the hour :D
I also bought a good amount of sports-wear and a back-brace, in all worth another USD 140. On this, they gave me a large discount which kind of evens up things.

Now that I see the prices paid by our other members, I do see that I paid a lot more. (Or rather, my wife did!)
But, after trying out the ARC7 today, I have no complaints :p

The serial number checks out okay but the price is a red flag. It is hard to beleive you would get a NS9000X for $50. So, if you could post some pictures that would be helpful for the experts here to determine the authenticity of this racket.
