Completely different. The 12 carries it's weight in the shaft/throat area so feels quite headlight, whereas the 11 carries it's weight in the head and feels more head-heavy. The 12 is for fast wristy players - for me it felt really nice but I just couldn't get any power out of it. From memory it felt like a BS10 but with a superlight head.

Please don't Alan, For BS pls get the 3u since u're arc10 3u user. I own arc 10 3u before, it would be too light and powerless if u take an 4u bs racket bro :) trust me .... Hehe

I'd happily recommend 4U in the Superwaves series, but in Brave Sword you'd be fine with a 3U.

If you're coming off the Arc10, I'd maybe not go the BS12. You'll probably find it too headlight. I'd consider the BS10 if you can handle something a bit stiffer, or BS11 if you want something with slightly more of a head-heavy feel (but nothing like the Voltric).

Actually now that I think of it......if you have an Arc10 and a VT80......get the BS11.

Why would you recommend 4U for the SW-series? That's what I wouldn't recommend.
I have an Arc10 and SW37 in 4U, and I'm still thinking that SW37 in 3U would have been the better choice. On the other hand, SW37 in 4U is really incredible fast and got the same or more smash power. But yeah, it's kinda hard to compare if you don't get both versions.

@2012 rackets from Victor: SW30 looks sooo boring. Almost like the Inside Wave 3500. Just black and white, no real colors.
BS15 looks pretty ugly. It's like a combination of green and orange...
Luckily MX-60 looks pretty good :D

I just imagine that the 3U performs slightly better :p
But maybe I should throw these thoughts away and be confident and satisfied about the SW37 I own :)

I know. I just don't want to inflict any 3U Superwaves on any unsuspecting Arc10 users. :D

    interesting.

    sw - 4u
    bs - 3u

Thanks for the recomendation on the BS range. I will look into it sometime next year. But I think my next toy will most likely be a babalot x-feel power.

    maybe u need to add:

    spira - 4u

i just bought the sp22 4UG2...but the weight somehow quite confusing. when i weight without string, it indicated 86gm...and after strung with bg66um, the weight became 89gm.
i supposed 4U spec shall range between 80-84gm. but i can live with that bcoz all my other victors are 3U spec...

Just heard on the grapevine that a specific shop in Taiwan will be the first to stock the BSLYD. Currently muddling through Google translate to try and get my grubby hands on one.

I knew I should've learnt Mandarin at school....

I think plastic thing weighs over 1g. So it probably just made it into the 4u category.

Personally, I think most victor 4u are in the 84/85g range.

yeah, i do think so...and i am ok with that. :) sp22 feel quite solid and i really like the color tone.

Maklike, yes u are rite. my contact is offered me BS LYD two days ago, but with China (CN/CH) coded version only. TW coded not released yet. The price is RM500, which i think bit pricey and i dun want to invest atm. :(

    If it's a double wrap like on my mx70 and 80, then it's 2g. :)
