I think J4ckie hit the nail on the head, at least regarding the N90II. My N90II is not nearly as stiff as some other racquets I own.

It's pretty interesting that almost all their line up is medium flex. You can actually find a couple different rackets that have the same exact specs on their website.

I wonder if they feel different or if it's just repainted.

Erm guys. Do you see any new rackets despite the mid- and lower-range rackets?

Okay, N10 and N20, but they're new for the rest of the world (which means outside of China :D) "only".
What about the N50-III, N55-III and N90-III which I've recently read here before?

I'd really appreciate it if someone would post some infos or pics(!) of these new rackets. Or just tell me that these are rumors only... :p

i never tried a Li Ning, but perhaps they classify their racquets not according to flexibility, but more according to technology. Victor does that : so many of their racquets are qualified as 4/5 on the stiffness scale

Specs are always only an indication, so two medium stiff rackets with a 295mm BP might actually feel very different. While Li Ning only provides the same weight categories as Yonex (i.e. 85-89g etc), the rackets are actually pretty damn close in weight. My N50IIs are both 89-90g (dry), my N90s are a tad lighter but very very close to each other, and the N70 is noticeably lighter than that.
My point is that a 3g difference is a whole world for badminton rackets, but will not appear as such when the exact target weight isn't specified.
Adidas seems to have a different approach, listing the target weight for each racket (with a +/-2g tolerance iirc), so you can actually see a difference between a 80g and 84g racket with the same BP.

Head shape is another factor - the N70 for example has a much thinner head than the N90, which is part of why it's so much faster despite being head heavy according to the specs.

try the n55II. Its light and powerful, easiest li ning to use. Most chinese players use it.
