From what i observed.. ...LYD threw his racket on the floor because it was during an intense point of the match & he was simply caught off guard by the semi-flick serve. He tried to blame the service being illegal and tried to get a service fault call from the umpire but to no avail. Thus, down goes the racket.
well, is that really unexpected? that he will do something he shouldnt do? because he really does some unexpected action when complaining, like during the SF of AE 2008, he knocked the umpire's seat by his racket because the shuttlecock shouldve been out, but the umpire said it wasnt, but it was really out during the slow motion playback
The emotion, the outrage, the fury.. For me, you and others, 1 pt isn't big. But for LYD maybe it's big.. ..i'm not here to say that it was really unexpected or not. I'm just giving my opinion on what i saw and what i felt went through LYD's mind/emotion. I don't recall what happened during the 2008 AE SF when LYD erupted and i don't care. But being upset at something that clearly is not right is somewhat justifiable. As for the degree of the outburst, that's definitely up to one's judgment. I'm sure every one of us has gone the same extent, as what LYD did, when something really upset us. Sometimes our emotions just can't hold our actions.

^^He didn't throw his racket during the 08 AE..^^ ..but thank goodness the Umpire's chair didn't topple..Can you imagine the scene if the chair and the umpire had fallen??..
yes he will, and a bit off-topic, recently i heard there was typhoon in taipei and it doesnt happen only once, it happens a few times i think, so will there still be taipei open? and if there will still be, i hope the typhoon wont get anywhere near the players
