No The team WC is named Sudirman Cup and has been played a few month ago this year.The next SC will be in 2011 i think.
Off topic-Yes.. ..they are the only 3 BWF-sanctioned official team events. The other one is the World Junior Badminton Championships, which only includes those players under 19 yrs of age. ..yes, the Asian Games as well as the Commonwealth Games are amongst a few other "Games" which have a badminton team event (also SEA Games, East Asian Games). However, since they are regional based events, those are not BWF-sanctioned events.

If I'm not mistaken it has been bothering him for quite some time.. An surgery is planned to be held to heal the injury, but since a surgery has its own pros and cons, he, his coach, and other Chinese Team officials must be really prepared for any possible aftermaths. Let's just keep praying for a successful surgery, shall we? So he can participate on this years WC
