OMG!!!! Okay, no offense.. But, that's shooooort!! I'm definitely taller than he was then, I think I am too now.. WooooooW, that's short.. Ehhm, so Kido cheated on his age?? And he didn't get caught??
You can try.. ...and perhaps decipher his Chinese characters in these links. Sorry, my current computer can't read Chinese characters: http://sports.sohu.com/20070819/n251664436.shtml http://sports.sohu.com/20070819/n251664446.shtml http://sports.sohu.com/20070819/n251664450.shtml
That's just a direct translation from his Indonesian name "Heng De La" -- Hendra. I am not sure if he does have a Chinese name like Candra Wijaya or Tony Gunawan. The other younger generation INA shuttlers (Simon Santoso, Sylvinna Kurniawan) do not seem to have Chinese names as well.
Thanks heaps , guys...valued info~ how come lots of Indo-chinese can't speak Chinese these days...parent not willing to teach or they just try to localized into Indo.......they should carry the tranditions like Liem Seiw King, Hartono etc....
His Chinese name is "Si Meng", which is a direct translation from Simon. As far as I know, there's no mention of his "real" Chinese name, unlike Hendrawan, which is "Ye Cheng Wan".
Perhaps.. ..our last resort for this is, none other than....................yannie (yan, mind helping us).. ..for some explanations, you can go to this thread. From post #16 onwards: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38637
