    but i think d pressure on SJH is not as great as the pressure that WYH went through in uber 2010.. d style of management in CHN team, putting tremendous pressure on their players, and WYH was seen fading from the badminton scene after the uber cup 2010.. and needed some time to make a comeback..

    She has improve leaps and bound after I first saw her live in uber cup 2010 finalShe was brilliant when she always beat wyh.But she would have to come out with new idea for Olympics cause the Chinese has studied her move

    Not many people are talking about Janet being a potential medalist at the OG but she stands a legitimate chance. She is flying a little under the radar but I think the CHN contingent already has an eye on her.

    I'd love to see her play WYH again. If she can push the chinese, I think she can turn the tables.

    agree.

    Koreans are always the darkhorse while the media radar always focus on the Chinese.

    +, since she basically won against WYH, she should have the confidence, and because she didn't win, she has the motivation ...
    When's the draw? Wanna know when she'll be meeting WYH.

    I hope she'd at least make it to the semis in London. Would love to see her play WYH and I quite like her style of play. And she seems like a nice person on the whole too

    Congratulations to Sung Ji Hyun for winning her first premium super series tournament on home soil! She played very smart and agressive against Wang Shixian and totally outplayed her at the net. What a thrilling match!

    .
    Yes, what a sweet tittle for Sung Ji Hyun (when she was not even seeded for this 2013 Korea Open SSP)?

    We shall post the link below (to give the results of all her matches);

    Yes,

    based on Wikipedia, the last WS who won Korea Open was Jun Jae Youn (2005)

    Both correct. Jun Jae Youn was the last to win a 5 or 6-star event, which was the precursor to the Superseries but since the series started in 2007, no one else from Korea has won one. Sung was in one other final, in 2010 in Korea. Bae Youn Joo has been in a few finals but not yet won one and Bae Seung Hee did not get that far. Jun and Hwang Hye Youn reached one SS semi-final each in 2008 but neither reached a final.

    SJH lifted 2nd Title for 2013, Taiwan GPG. This should help boost up her confident.
