I have created this thread to see if anyone agrees with me.
I have noticed recently that LYD/LHJ have been in pretty poor form recently, I am wondering, if there is a reason behind there recent form or is this just a bad spell for the WR1
Here are some of the recent results to back up my concerns
I only included the SS events as these are attended by most of the top players
    Malaysia SS 2010 - 2nd round ( why did they withdraw ?)
    Korea SS 2010 - 1st round
    China SS 2009 - Winners
    Hong Kong SS 2009 - 2nd round
Japan SS & Li Ning Masters were both skipped by the pair
This takes me back to the BWF WC where they got to the semi finals

On this evidence it is not what you expect from the WR1 is it ?
I am still fans of the pair and always will be

LYD has an elbow injury....he's had it for a while, but it's recently gotten worse, which explains his withdrawal...

LHJ's form is sort of erratic, but I'd mostly say it's due to LYD's injury...

    But...
LYD form has been really good in MD he has been winning most of the recent SS events, he hasn't shown many signs of injury when playing MD.

He recently lost out in the first round in the malaysian SS...

IMO, in XD, the pressure on the guy increases compared to in MD, where he can take turns at the net with JJS, where in XD he's pressured to do more of the attacking play himself.

I am very-very sad to read about his conditions and the duty he had to shoulder in his carrer. most of us watching and praise on his success but we don't know how much responsibilities he had to carries. hope the KBA will look and take more care and attention on him, because he is so precious to their country. give him enough rest and medical treatment. PLEASE....PLEASE he is our one and only LYD.

Their recent poor form is also actually from Lee Hyo Jung, the so called 'Queen Of mistake'. During the Mas Open, when i have a chance to watch them 'LIVE' , i saw her making way too much error though.

I just found this thread..I wish I found it sooner.

Yeah, LYD's injury is widely known, but also LHJ has been injured as well. I go to her personal website and was able to read from the comments that she was dealing with her injuries and was doing rehab since last year. She said that she feels better these days, as can be seen from Uber Cup finals! =)

I wish I could see them play during world championship! LYD/LHJ are my favorite doubles players. I wish LHJ also plays WD regularly (given how successful she could be even after not playing it for awhile) but oh well..it's just that I realy miss LKW/LHJ playing together. LYD/JJS too. :p
