After his win over Hu Yun in IBL, Anup Sridhar is on his way back, winning the Yonex Czech International title and will probably go back to top 100 in the coming week's ranking! He was injured in czech international and with that injury he participated in london GPG and aggrevated it.. Now he retired in the middle of the match..
yup he did say he has little discomfort here and there during the finals.. anyway he was holding his own against Hou in London, so he shd get his fitness back, and we will see more of him in future
I see he's still around WR 100... he lost at his local India Open GPG yesterday, but seems to be participating in a bit of tournies. I saw his name at a couple Euro tournies last year. He seems to be doing okay, still has his powershots and good reach of court but is getting tired easily :-/
