May I ask you how do you play both men's and ladies' double? Also, do you and yourself play together for mixed double? Damn, you are good. And I have no comment on your preferred style. What kind of string do you use? G String on a musical instrument?
I don't see here the problem: obviously Trinhity is a man playing singles, men's doubles and two men against two ladies' doubles and mixed doubles. I sometimes play also men's single against "someone's" double (1:2) - it is quite a good training! But we slightly changed the rules - we all must serve as for singles and the one who is alone has court for singles and the opposite double has the court for doubles then in the game. Try and you will see that in such a game the double doesn't have sooooo much advantage. The single one can also win!
update: defense and lots of running (me not the opponent) prefer doubles, do not play singles still same racket + tension
