For China - Malaysia prediction: (I make it short)

China will win 3-0 or 3-1 or if they lost both LD and CY/FHF they will win 3-2. The 3 sure points will be from XD, WS and WD.

This is very funny. Yes, LHJ sometimes can play brilliantly but sometimes can lost points with easy mistakes very quickly. Too bad , that also happen to Nova too. He had some top shots but can make easy one if he feel pressured.

It will be a gripping macthes tomorrow for Ina : Korea except for WD.

(Wishful thinking; If only Vita pair with Lilyana, we had a shot against Kor pair)

    Wrong. the turth is this

    1. He Hanbin / Yu Yang Vs Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari / Wong Pei Tty - CHN to take this.

    2. Lin Dan Vs Lee Chong Wei - 80:20 match. I could say that it will be the match of the day.

    3. Wang Yihan Vs Wong Mew Choo - 90:10 for CHN. In my opinion, MAS should take this to secure their position.

    4. Cai Yun / Fu Hai Feng Vs Koo Kean Keat / Tan Boon Heong - 80:20 match.
    5. Du Jing / Yu Yang Vs Wong Pei Tty / Chin Eei Hui - 80:20 for CHN.

Total chance % for msia win china is 20%

If HS goes all out and outplay LYD @ the net, it doesn't matter if its Ahsan or Kido that's paired with him, they'll beat the KOR pair.

Sony and Nova/Butet will have to win.......and I hope the INA coaches will field Maria instead of Firda (unless Maria's knee is really in bad shape). I doubt Firda can handle the pressure....

What order of play will they used? Hopefully XD will be played before MD.

It will be 4:1 for China with the single win from LCW -- it will be satisfying enough for me!:D

Same here,.......Totally agreed......but I M satistifed with the SF birth for MAS........they have created history....for entering this 1st ever SF........since MAS was up and down between Group 1 and 2 for past 10 years or so in Sudirman Cup.........Good to see MAS have establised as one of the permanent member in group 1.........like KOR, Chn, INA and Den....

Keep it up...MAS ......and no pressure for tonight SF....go for it...:D:D:D

it will be surely a cracking day today!
its true. ceh had a groin injury and had been dropped from the squad , according to rexy.
'And to make matters worse, national chief coach Rexy Mainaky has decided to drop Eei Hui due to a groin injury.
Youngster Ng Hui Lin will now make her debut with Pei Tty but they are unlikely to get past any of the pairs China field today.'

Hush hush.....there's a resident KOR fan who will certainly disagree to your first statement abt his dominating KOR pair

I see that Coach Sigit Pamungkas gave Mohd Ahsan extra attention in practice yesterday. He was given more service practice with Nova Widianto, Fran Kurniawan, and the other doubles, while Hendra Setiawan is kept on a separate court. I guess Sigit will field Hendra/Ahsan.

There's no doubt abt the XD and MS matches. It's a MUST WIN for INA. Losing either one, we can depart home tomorrow already.

MAS vs CHN -- my predicted line-up:
XD: Mohd Fairuzizuan Mohd Tazari/Wong Pei Tty vs He Hanbin/Yu Yang or Zheng Bo/Ma Jin -- which ever pair is fielded, CHN will take this pt.

MS: Lee Chong Wei vs Lin Dan -- the much anticipated contest. Unfortunately, this match happens in China and honestly, Lin Dan still has the edge. If LCW can beat Lin Dan in front of his home crowd, it will bode well for him in the WC 2009 and Asian Games 2010.

MD: Koo Kien Keat/Tan Boon Heong vs Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun -- a 50-50 match yet again and this time, I think Koo/Tan can beat the CHN pair.

WS: Wong Mew Choo vs Wang Yihan -- again 50-50. Wang Yihan has a slight edge.

WD: Wong Pei Tty/Ng Hui Lin vs Du Jing/Yu Yang -- if the score is 2-2 at this stage, CHN will take this one for sure. I cannot see them losing.

Overall, I think CHN will take this one 3-1 or 3-2.

While Sidek's men and women take on Yongbo's lineup indoors, another MAS_v_CHN is brewing outdoors in Kuantan, this one in Asia Cup [hockey]. As all of you who also follow hockey, South Korea won 5-1 against China in the semi-finals.

Coach Tai Beng Hai is confident his men will finish on the podium by combining the individual skills into a team unit and staying focussed.

All the best to all of them, all as it means good match for spectating in racquet and stick-work!

Even though I predicted KKK/TBH's win at the 2009 Swiss Open, unfortunately, in this event they will lose to CY/FHF.

I have usually predicted as watching their previous games. In Cai/Fu's games in this Sudirman, I saw something improved in them. On the contrary, Koo/Tan showed some deficiency in their confidence especially when playing against Jaesung/Yongdae.

Anyhow, I expect good game between the top players. :)
