tell me what is the shop, and I might be able to tell you if it is genuine or not no you are wrong the format is: DD MM Y X then 2 country code D: Day (can't be more than 31 or 30 depending on the month) M: month (can't be less than 1 or more than 12) Y: year (yes only 1 number for year) X: irrelevant for us, some people said it is batch number (this number can't be 0) country code: SP, JP, CH, etc for example: 021212SP so: day: 02 month: 12 (december) year: 2001 or 2011 (we can identify the year by looking at the shaft serials) X: 2 (irrelevant) distribution area: SP (Singapore) note than SP is country distribution, not country where it is made (it is still made in Japan, Taiwan / China depending on your racket, high end, mid end, or low end) ALL Yonex racket should follow this format if they don't then it is a fake some people confused between cone code and SUNRISE stickers on the sunrise sticker, they put: SXXXXXX it is NOT the cone code
Hi, can you please help me check? Some guy said mine is a fake because there's no Sunrise hologram sticker. I bought it in 2009... ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Armortec 600 shaft serial: 8467738 cone code : 210492SP source : Perfect Sports, Pertama Complex, Malaysia price : RM300 ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----

legitimate. and also may i add, what store from hong kong, where is the best place to buy badminton supplies in hongkong? my sister is in hk and i would like her to bring me back some badminton gear hehe. *its legit cause made 11th of october 2011* singapore distributor.
Errm, that alone doesn't make it legit . It also has to coincide with the estimated shaft serial number on that date (outside of the physical appearance).
Hi, Thanks for the help. Appreciate that you guys are doing such a nice service for everyone here! =) ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Voltric 5 shaft serial: 6131776 cone code : 291104SP source : Singapore, Queensway Shopping Centre price : SGD100(81USD ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- [h=3]---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Voltric Z Force shaft serial: 3662838 cone code : 310722SP/310122SP (Sunrise sticker covered, quite tight on it, so i can make out roughly of what i can see.) source : Singapore, Queensway Shopping Centre price : SGD220(81USD ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- [/h] Another question to add on: YONEX had a page on ways to spot counterfeit products, so additional to those ways http://www.yonex.com/company/warning-counterfeits/ So what i've learned so far, these people who make fake racquets, they have circumvented all these things, so ultimately the best way to find out is thru serial numbers only? Considering another possibility, cant they actually rip off serial numbers off a legitimate racquet? Then that would be REALLY tricky already isnt it? ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Isometric 25DF shaft serial: 3250464 cone code : 200763CH (So i suppose, 20th July 2006? But ya. Just for learning sake, perhaps enlighten me abit? Sorry for my barrage of questions, perhaps this can help everyone to learn more too. Thanks in advance, guys!
hi man, It should be a legitimate one. According to the datasheet i compiled from this forum. But you shouldnt be here. you should be here instead: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...uying-Enquiries-(no-ebay-s-or-online-auction)
It does. Doesnt it? Not because Danze said so. but ya, according to my datasheet that i compiled from this forum. However, an estimate is still an estimate. Anyway hi, Danze, so is your Z-Force 100% legitimate?
Hi, Warzenta, I am pretty positive, this is legitimate at least according to my datasheet. Which i am sure is pretty accurate
how sure are you??its an urgent..i may trade in this racket with my ns9900..so need to be sharp very carefull..hope got to get a rite one..
can u please help me? ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8---- racket model: Yonex Nanospeed 9900 shaft serial: 2368443 cone code : 424192SP source : Friend ---->8---- cut here (include this line) ---->8----
Bought mine from a trusted source, looks and feels legit. serial code has correct format.has sticker and both serial codes. good quality neat grommets. i dont need to post the serial code. i know its legit. but thanks for caring.
I really need to find out the it's identity so I can give something back to my friend of similar/equivalent value, Thanks!
Bro, i hope you understand that what we are doing here. it's a voluntary service. Similarly, my datasheet is accurate. Thats what i am implying. Fake racquets, has many tell-signs, the important thing is to be aware. Out-of-place serials number is just one of them, you only gave us serial number. We cant give you full assurance of cos, we arent Yonex. Hope you understand what i am saying here. Hope these help: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...2-Guide-How-to-Spot-Counterfeit-Yonex-Rackets http://www.yonex.com/company/warning-counterfeits/ If you are really that uncertain of this, perhaps dont trade then?
I see, first you say it doesnt follow, now you say it's legit. Just wondering thats all. I am fine by it. Just hope you're ok then.
