Then yes it is fake. If you want to be sure, post the code located on the cone of your racket here (or in the forums dedicated to that) and we'll confirm.
could b fake... quality of replica racket is definitely..lower than the real thing... there is a limit to what it can do..
it is a fake for certain. so what it means is that the quality will be pretty bad throughout, including the grommets. and that explains why the grommets wore out so easily. and the second set, it could be the replacement grommets are also of lower quality. case solved.
indeed, some of the racquict and shutlle are far far below expectation, so therefore is quite bad and an experience to talk about.
what gave it away as a fake are two things. - the shared grommets. real Yonex grommets don't flare this way. - price.
and if it is fake, then there is no quality to speak of. that's the issue with fake. they look kinda like the real Yonex, but don't perform anywhere near the real one.
I am using mybadmintonstore grommets and have found them decent. They are not the brittle ones I've seen on cheap or fake racquets and more often than not do the job. Sure there are better grommets there, like the Yonex set grommets, which you can also get from mybadmintonstore for a higher price premium Bear in mind grommets are of sacrificial nature, and the more often you restring, the faster they'll wear out.
Actually, I think the V70/80 gromments are quite bad, compare to the older AT, NS series. Also, mid end LiNing rackets seems to have colorful, but not long lasting gromments, too.
