Im counting as daylight saving that means WIB is UTC +6. As Im writing now, this it is 2:31PM in London, and 8:31PM in Jakarta.
BWFmedia replied me on Facebook: and they twitted on Twitter in less one hour: I guess it is related to Badminton World TV live stream.
Germany is desperately in need of being allowed to watch the live stream on Badminton World TV! Hopefully there will be a solution!
^^ you can always try and trick the IP address into thinking your not in Germany, there is a way of doing it, just can't quite remember. will look into it in the morning! (not sure if IP is the correct term)
^Don't worry, it's the correct term! I know there are ways to cheat, but still I don't really understand why they do have any problems to make it happen! Who is it they need to negotiate with in the first place? Kinda strange, if you ask me!
In Singapore date/time August 9, 2011 @ 00:00(midnight). Is this correct? Is there anyone here who could explain this trick to me in germany? Would be a great favour, im sure not only to me. Thanks!
^^ The trick involves, tricking your IP address into believing you are not in germany. Therefore, you should be able to access the channel. As far as I know, it involves changing some data in the proxy (of the server) in order to deceive the web address you are trying to access. Its pretty useful, if you intend to hack a low security website (although ive never tried this, i have more to do with my life ) i will get up early and see what i can do, in regards to the "trick" i have a feeling, it may be easier said than done though...
Yes but it is not available in all countries . Either because they are the host or it is shown on tv in those countries ... or internet regulations for Germany and Sweden(?). Which makes it more surprising to see live comments from Malaysia or Indonesia??
Live streaming will also be available here: http://www.badmintonlife.com/2011/bwf-world-badminton-championships-2011-live-streaming/
Can you tell me, how it works ? I mean the proxy...I am in Germany and Youtube says : This video is not avaible -.-
Same here...Both streams are not working...Damn it...Has anyone the same problems or is it working anywhere ?
