Agree on plastics, you can't learn any finesse shots with it. It's just pounding and whacking away at it. Re 66UM, only problem is my smile only lasts for 12 hrs or so of playing, because after that it loses crispness and becomes spongy.
NBG98 is probably the most repulsive string around. But with it's Teflon coated slippery as a fish surface, forget about any shots that require slicing or hitting at an angle other than perfectly square onto the stringbed.
