    then try zm65 @24-25 lbs based on your nbg95 @ 26 lbs preference

    To me, ZM65 feels similar to NBG 98 and UM 66.

    Firstly, plastic sucks. Plastic is not badminton. Unless you're a militant vegan then, sure, use plastic. I forgive you.

    Secondly, Ultimax is the best string ever made. Use it and smile :)

    I prefer NBG 98. Feels like it belongs to me. Ultimax loses on the dampness after using a long time.

    Agree on plastics, you can't learn any finesse shots with it. It's just pounding and whacking away at it.

    Re 66UM, only problem is my smile only lasts for 12 hrs or so of playing, because after that it loses crispness and becomes spongy.

    NBG98 is probably the most repulsive string around. But with it's Teflon coated slippery as a fish surface, forget about any shots that require slicing or hitting at an angle other than perfectly square onto the stringbed. :p
