    two things:

    - badadum was not banned.

    - don't abuse the idea of "freedom of speech". freedom of speech is not guaranteed in a private forum like this. 1st Amendment right for freedom of speech only applies to government agencies. it does not apply to private forum like BC.

LD's success rate is highest among all the MS, above 50% of the time he wins a title when he participate(AlanY's thread has those stats). Thus collecting points & take over as WR#1 quite fast. Just to be safe, China need to make sure 3 of their MS are in top 4,so participate as many as possible (at least all the SS). If can get into WR#1, good. If 1,2,3 better still, no need to stress that drop out of top 4.

I recall that in 2008, there was a rush for Chen Jin to qualify, he was borderline between WR#4 & WR#5, anytime the other MS can overtake him. Was it that time the much said 'gifted" AE from LD to CJ ?

So, from 2 May 2011 onwards, a lot of interesting stuff for us to see :D

I learned this from the professional forum regarding about MS tournament
If LD lost to foreign players-He is being generous
If LD lost to teammates-match fixing
If LD won- he is motivated

Should we name this phenomena as LD's rules or BC's rules?

Don't know why you suddenly bring up these things?

    .
Don't know why you suddenly bring up these things about Lin Dan in this thread of Lee Chong Wei?

    We could apply the same to LCW (with same phenomena);
If LCW lost to foreign players-He is being generous
If LCW lost to teammates-match fixing
    If LCW won-he is motivated
    :p:p:p

Nothing to do with jia you fans or boleh-fans here. We are not here to declare war on each other. Boleh fans and jia you fans should just support their players in peace. :)

    .
    Me too. :):):)

I usually cheer for players because of their skills in Badminton; not because of where they come from.

    that should be the way

following some trend some bcer predictions are lcw has a good chance in coming wc

is it because of the china team involved in their super league and their training interrupted?

going back on lcw's threat one should find something

Same talk about LCW leading up to the TC but when it counted, he wilted badly against LD. It's a mental block thing

Here, at BC, we can tell how certain BCers believe in certain players

    .
What pjswift has said is true. But that is for during a match. It is because as a match progresses, the leading player usually becomes more confident and the losing player can become clueless and can even start to panic and/or surrender. It goes back to how players believe in themselves.

Here, at BC, we can tell how certain BCers believe in certain players.

Here, in this thread, we are still asking "Will Lee Chong Wei remain World No.1 until the 2012 OG?"

    Going back to Post #1;

Challenge Lee Chong Wei for top spot?
Lin Dan is definitely in when OG qualification starts.
Not sure if the rest can beat LCW, one year can play a really big role when you are already 27-30. Performances can change drastically.

chris, now i really looked at the threat title

its different from the posts received here

    including mine..lol..

all the while mostly off topic

maybe it should be titled '' is there any guy thinking of toppling lee chong wei now until 2012 olympic? ''

probably the response would be different

the only players probably can create a thread to lee chong wei are none other than tago (japan), wzm (china), dhr (ina) and of course lin dan.

accept for lin dan i think the rest mentioned most probably after 2012 olympic. they are still not 'cooked' yet

Not important for Lin Dan to be ranked as World No.1

    .
    I don't think so. ;););)

LYB is happy as long as LD can qualify for the 2012 OG, not important for LD to be ranked as World No.1.

    .
In 2 days' time, it looks like there will be a rematch between Chong Wei LEE [1] and Taufik HIDAYAT [2] at the 2010 Malaysia Open Grand Prix Gold.
