this young pairs are only 20-22... yet I have heard their names for YEARS, maybe due to their victory in Junior level championship. We cant expect another Lee Young Dae, Player like Lee YD come around once in every 20years. our young pairs look promising but we will only know when they reach ard 25! 25 is the age which most Double players start to excel. Gip them more time...

Youngster Sonia Cheah, tipped to take over from national No. 1 Wong Mew Choo, twisted her ankle during the first day of training after the Chinese New Year break at Stadium Juara in Bukit Kiara yesterday. It is unsure whether she will be able to recover in time for the National Grand Prix Finals, which will be held in Kuala Terengganu from Feb 18-21. In the men’s singles, Liew Daren and Tan Chun Seang are both down with ankle injuries and are doubtful for the German Open (March 1-6) and All-England (March 9-13). The worst hit, however, is former world junior doubles champion Teo Kok Siang, who suffered two injuries – knee and heel – in a month. Kok Siang may undergo surgery and this may rule him out of action for at least six months. This is a big blow to Kok Siang and his partner, Goh Wei Shem. The duo have worked their way up to the 21st spot in the world rankings. Yup, Goh Wei Shem is too valuable to be wasted and Lim Khim Wah would definitely suit him, let CPS focus on XD But I feel very sad lerh... TKS maybe 6 months also not fully recover...

GWS-LKW will make a good pair..due to CPS' commitment to XD. LKW is often left at the sidelines, not given enough opportunity to stamp his mark..Both of them are speedy and aggressive players. Should complement each other well..keeping fingers crossed

Did Mak Hee Chun break up with his GF/quarrel with TWK? ZERO communication. Passive gameplay, keep lifting non-stop. They seemed to be 'forced' to shout because they didn't even look like they want to win, honestly. Fairuz/OSH didn't even need anything special to win. I don't have any words to say except to SPLIT UP. Something has happened between MHC and TWK and I don't know what. Dead last. I'm not disappointed, just wondered what happened?
