Japanese badminton organization system is different from Malaysia or China. Most of the team members is employed and trains once a day after work. They only converge and train under one roof when there is a major tournament like Thomas Uber Cup, Sudirman, JO and big SuperSeries events where there is many Japanese participation. Ikeda's company Unisys is based in Tokyo while Ogura and Reiko's company Sanyo is based in Osaka. At the moment Reiko is still under Sanyo but not as an employee per se. So she is now based in Tokyo and trains with Ikeda at Unisys's camp.
i prefer reiko to play in the wd category rather than playing in the xd category. trust me, she's got no future in xd....
She dosen't wanna play in overseas tournament anymore? Did she told you so personally? If so that's fine, but so far no Japanese media has made coverages in that way, so it's a surprise to hear. I guess the common understanding about her situation among Japanese fans is she's been rehabilitating as she's been even away from domestic games as well, nothing like she already become reluctant to play or anything.
Yes, chatted with her. She just want to participate in local tournaments. She is currently based in Osaka. I think she dont want to over exert herself too much due to those injuries that she has.
hmmm Adidas court shoes nice ... anyone know which model is Ikeda san wearing ?? could it be superstar ??
it's not thunder thighs anyway you look at it. perhaps the mileage she got renders her leg a bit trunky?
at least they're not like table tennis' (back in the days) girls legs when stomping was still de rigeur!
even baddy when the floor were solid with no cushioning underneath the surface...same kind of legs--remember? save the reallt skinny ladies.
