I was also tryn to get my hands on an Apacs racquet..i'm about to order it from racquet_sports on ebay...any one who have revious experiance from this seller plese input..i'm concerned on the conege in specs as insicaed by some in this thread...(like L70 being headlight????!!!)..i'm on to Tantrum200...
i got my lethal 60 from racket_sports, it's on specs, the only problem is that the paint comes off rather easily... but i think that's the problem with apacs and not him... great racket and great power tho... only problem with the trade was that he didn't have it in stock and took an extra 2 days or so to send it... but no big problems...
Yeah let me guess was it Steve grifiths (or something like that) that you emailed ? Yeah he is a cheeky little .................. (you can fill in the gap) I once emailed him asking when they were getting more edgesaber 7s in stock to which he replied "we don't next month, next year, never" what kind of answer is that ? All I wanted to know is when they were getting more stock and I got a reply that gave me no help at all, I decided not to buy an apace racket cause of that, and if I do I will avoid buying from Steve griffins
As I was about to order from ebay, i have a situtation...some of my friends pointed out that since racquet_sports(seller ) is from Malaysia, there may be some import duties to be paid...has any one baught from abroad and shipped, could commend on this??? ~^anand....
I know that in Canada there is no import duties on rackets (that I've seen anyway) as I've bought from HK extensively. You will probably have to pay any federal or local sales taxes though.
bought 4 rackets from racquet_sports in one order. No import duties was imposed for Australia. Been informed that the limit here is AUD1000, above that market value 10% tax will apply
I was considering to buy a L70. But it seems that thr is a lot of quality issue. Do you guyz still recommend me to get a L70?
should be alright, just test it out first, since ur in Malaysia anyway.... make sure the balance point is about 29cm from the bottom of the racket....(balance point should be between bottom of the (triple) arrow and the H on "HM TITANIUM POWER FRAME" on the shaft) if ur ordering online make sure u can return it if it's not on spec and get them to verify with the product before they send it off
Alrite, really thank you on the useful information! I will try asking my fren to ask the storekeeper to find a on specs 1 for me. TQ~
Hi guys I just received (yesterday) my new Lethal 60 with Zymax 0,62 strings. It's my first Apacs racket and I like it too much Before that I had the Carlton Powerblade Titanium. Can someone tell me which Apacs racket is similar to those specs? Features Level: Advanced Type: All Around / Offensive Flex: Stiff Head: Square / Isometric / Quad Weight: 91gm(2U-) B.Pt: 7 (Even Balance) =============== Head: High Modulus Carbon Graphite, Titanium Shaft: High Modulus Carbon Graphite found on http://www.badmintonalley.com/Carlton_Powerblade_Titanium_p/racket-c-powerblade-ti.htm Thanks for your help!
I asked the question b4, but no one had replied me. *sad* My question was, is there any diff btwn L60 and 70 in terms of smashing power, control, durability ?
I don't have L60...but my L70 has excellent paint. I've had a few mishits and the paint is still how it looked in the wrapping.
L60 = 60% Attack/ 40% defense L70 = 70% Attack / 30% defense L80 = 80% Attack/ 20% defense L90 = 90% Attack / 10% defense L100 = 100% Attack/ 0% defense Just joking. I have L60 not L70. Paint is durable. My paint chipped when hit by an idiot's racket. Prior to that, it is all ok. Just that the lines are not very straight. Maybe hand drawn .
the paint isn't very good on my L60.... reminds me of a thick m&m shell but on my racket instead of being on the chocolate... survived 3 light collisions so far... no sign of damage to the frame, but the paint comes right off... the paint on my MP100 seems better....
Most of the apacs racquets have a G2 grip size...is it similar to yy G4 or is it a big G2(yonec G2 equvalent??)
